I don't think he is all that and he lacks the legs to play box-to-box the way he does in a 4-4-2 in my opinion, looked decent in the 4-3-3 though I think our biggest problem with 4-4-2 isn't our midfield but a lack of a striker who will drop deep to link play up, Owen does it well in a 4-3-1-2 formation but in a 4-4-2 he doesn't get up to support his strike partner quick enough. Keegan really needs to go back to the formation he had success with last season. can't fully agree with that, successful 4-4-2's either need CM's who control the game through ball retention and passing, and/or destroyers who can pass it onto more creative players our CM's have neither the quality nor the physicality to make 4-4-2 viable; every other aspect of the team is arguably suited to it that is our current problem in a nutshell.

with Phillips, Jermone, O'Connor, M.Bent and McFadden I'm struggling to understand why Brum need to get Quincy in

Fully agree. Need a two new CM's with Guthrie, Barton & Butt in reserve

I don't think we'll buy a creative midfielder tbh. Don't know why but i get a hunch we'll be playing 4-4-2 and Keegan is happy with his midfield/wingers already. Be a striker and a LB we bring in.

Free curry at games for those who turn up topless if this guy takes over tbh.

Bullard wants to stay in London, already turned down a move back to Wigan (allegedly)

Hopefully a signing of another current Argentine int'l will make us a more attractive proposition to other players we may be in for whereas we may not have been before. A bit of a signal of intent signing if you will.
-
I hope as a few people have said already, he is proper nasty bastard, hard but fair/unfair if needs be type. We have been crying out for someone like that for a fair while. Proper Argentine style much like Heinze was for Man Utd.

I thought he was alreet at Spurs, decent enough if not amazing, same went for Edman. Scored a pearler against us first game of season in the season Bobby got sacked i think

I'm "furious" with hapless Enrique. Barton Out! Wise Out!

itrs the mugs who believe it that do my head in. You cant have a sensible conversation with them because you are effectivley arguing against a newspaper article. True and its usually fans of other teams that believe this rubbish making it hard to have a decent football debate with them as they just regurgitate stuff from the papers. Nay mind.
-
We should, as a club, have a blanket ban on speaking to the media and let them peddle their lies. I find it all very amusing, its the mugs who believe it all I feel sorry for.

why wait till monday ? cos people like to go out raving on a weekend.

Fully agree Wull, everything I've heard about him seems to suggest that when in theory is no more a young Premiership reserve like many others. Compare him with James Milner for example, when do you ever hear of him being a twat?
-
They were trying to sign Adrian Mutu too so perhaps they're going for a formation change? probably... ----------Aquilani-----------Perotta------------De Rossi----------- --------------------Totti-----------------Silva------------------------- ------------------------------Eto'o------------------------------------- If Eto'o dosent sign, then they can easily move Totti as the lone striker and play Pizzaro and silva off him. Good team, but Sadly for them, their defence is not that great (Mexes is the exception). I guess that would work especially since Mancini has gone to Inter. Decent attack on paper if indeed they buy Silva & Eto'o

"officially the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, is a country in Oceania" - wiki.

Where are Roma suddenly getting all this money from?! Be suprised if they got Eto'o since they effectively play with no-one upfront (Totti by himself)
-
on a technicality: Mexico as they compete in the Copa America but aren't of that persuasion

Very true, as he alludes to in his article.
