Barca there for the taking here.
-
What a goal. Trademark
-
Shoulda been booked there. Cynical
-
Dunno bout that but i think it should be a great game. Rijkaard says Barca are going to go for it which is probably the best way to go about it as the can't defend. Hopefully Messi has a stormer.
-
He is talking to Spurs. Unfortunately, he is also talking to the scum up the road as well. If Flamini goes to Italy I think they will be his destination. If not, then perhaps we are in with a shout. Any idea if he is any good? Always looked good when he played in the Champions League for Lille i seem to recall.

I've got a mate who supports Dortmund who waxes lyrical about him n all.
-
Aye the anti - Keane song could be a lot better
-
looked class whenever ive seen him this season and is scoring loads (think he is averaging more than a goal a start). not sure he'd fit into our team as we already have Owen who plays a similar game. 14 goals in 14 (7 sub) - superb record. Cost Bordeaux £7m ish when he moved. 7 bookings this season n all.
-
Spurs must have a lot of 'talkers' because they're talking to everyone or do they just turn Gus Poyet up and everyone listens to him?
-
I'd wank myself silly if we got £9m for them two carthorses (He'll score past us next season)
-
14 goals in 32 matches for St. Etienne this season. Joint 3rd (with Cisse and Cavenaghi) in the top scorers behind Benzema and Niang.
-
Think he is pretty shit myself. Not sure where he'd fit in for the mackems like unless they are going to persist with the 4-5-1 system

Barton's banned for the Everton game I think so stick him in then. Banned? More like he'll be arrested if he is even near Goodison.
-
Sounds like a good night, Cheers for that Coach.

What has it got to do with being foreign. It's more the case, that they don't have a clue, what football is all about... Find me a foreign owner in the Premiership who is in touch with reality. Randy Lerner

We certainly did get lucky with Big Mike.

Stupid move from a stupid man

Few biggish French teams could go down, all have players worth looking at: PSG: Mamadou Sakho(as mentioned above), Bernard Mendy, David N'Gog Toulouse: Johan Elmander, Achille Emana, Jeremy Mathieu Lens: Aruna Dindane Auxerre: Thomas Kahlenberg I also agree that Jean Makoun is a very good shout. Lille are not one of the bigger clubs either so mayn't cost so much altho i imagine Lyon will be after him should someone else come in as they tend to hoover up the French talent (e.g. Bodmer & Toulalan - both good players too)
-
so much to be decided on the last day of the Championship it seems. Going to be a tense day. Would like to see Leicester go down as it would shut rent a quote up and Mandaric has been a joke this season
-
Agree, he'd have to bulk up a bit though. No reason why he couldn't play in a midfield 3 though. Hasn't got the pace of a natural modernday wideman unfortunately. Aye. As players like Nobby and Beckham have proved you don't need to be pacey to play out wide as long as your delivery is good enough, sadly though Milner's isn't. Very true, it could possibly be something that be coached into him, that and learning when to cross and not run but it would take very intensive coaching over a long long time.

Break the bank for someone who is not available could well be the best option. DM is probably the most important position for us if we are looking to move forward. (look how Spurs fell away when they lost Carrick and replaced him with a far inferior player(s)) I agree but who? I honestly think Grant (if he was in charge) would be tempted to let him go in the summer. From what i've seen he's good on the ball and has plenty of physical attributes at a good age. Let him work with Butt and get him used to the role, would sound nice to me. At this moment in time i can't think of anyone. Don't think Mikel will be moving though after the struggle Chelsea went to get him in and if he does he won't move here. Veloso would seem a good shout too but again i doubt he'd move here if the likes of Man U are in for him.

Fenerbahce's was far more intimidating imo. Mind, I've only seen Galatasaray's on TV. http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/751/hell2cj0.jpg That's not Gala's ground its the Turkish national stadium where they play Champs League games This is their 'real' ground: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/51/Ali_Sami_Yen.jpg
