Its no wonder we battered them if they playing a team like that.

Wheater should've been sent off just before half time when he went through the back of Smith, for the umpteenth time when he was already on a yellow

K-P Boateng on his way out of Spurs to Villa according to SSN.

The pitch has the big line on it from a heating tube they were using when they had one of them air domes over the pitch to stop it freezing/becoming waterlogged. Rugby season doesn't start for a few weeks.
-
Its on the BBC, will prob be a snooze fest like all their games are. How about that line on the pitch btw It's the new style, this time next month all the pitches will be wearing them

Fair play to Chelsea and Wigan for putting full strength teams out and showing the competition a bit of respect.

Knows his stuff when I've seen him on the BBC rugby like but as ITV don't show rugby...

The more non NUFC fans on here the better i reckon, always interesting to see other fans POV on NUFC and footy plus in the most all the fans that aren't NUFC are sound.

team pretty much picks itself think that team pretty much picks itself due to our paper thin squad situation.
-
not enough spare seats for my liking.
-
very attacking line up i like it. Should win (hopefully) tonight.
-
What a shite appointment this would be. Be slightly less ridiculous if it was a temporary thing but fucking hell, what a joke.
-
Problem is that to sue the paper for libel is a long drawn out process which puts a lot of people of doing it.

For those interested Ajax beat AZ 6-1 this afternoon. AZ had 10men for second half though. Wouldn't be against seeing Van Gaal here mind.
-
Blessing in disguise, least he won't be in the team for a few games now

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/topstor...9520-20281696/ Troubled football idol Paul Merson has been made homeless after gambling away the roof over his head. The former millionaire, who once earned £20,000 a week, has been forced to quit his plush £300,000 flat and move back into his parents' ex-council house after failing to pay his mortgage. Friends say the addict is a mess and has squandered his wealth on gambling, drinking and womanising. One said last night: "Effectively, he's homeless. It's so bloody sad. At the age of nearly 40, considering all he's done and all the money he's earned, he's gone back to square one and the house where he was a teenager. Advertisement "Merse is still earning money from Sky Sports and on the after-dinner speaking circuit but he just squanders it on his addictions. He drinks, he gambles, he womanises. He's an addict in a mess. He's living hand-to-mouth." Today Lloyds Bank will go to court for an order to repossess the former England midfielder's property. Merson, 39, who first admitted his addictions 14 years ago, went bust last April after failing to keep up £900-a-month repayments on his £40,000 Range Rover. The Sky pundit was declared insolvent and agreed a deal to pay off his estimated £150,000 debts over several years. His repossessed flat in upmarket Four Oaks, West Mids, is now set to be auctioned by Lloyds but is unlikely to reach full value, leaving him with more debts. Father-of-five Merson is still supporting his first wife Lorraine and the couple's three teenage boys as well as second wife Louise and their six-year-old twins. Friends also believe he still has substantial gambling debts. After last April's court hearing, he said: "I'm not bankrupt, I never have been and never will be - but I admit I came close. "I was offered bankruptcy but refused because I was determined to pay off my debts myself - the noble way." Merson first left his family home in Northolt, Middlesex, more than 20 years ago. He went on to play for Arsenal, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth - winning the FA Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup, league title and league cup plus 21 caps for England. But despite wealth and fame, he soon developed addictions to alcohol, gambling and cocaine. He once admitted blowing £7million on his addictions and maintenance settlements to his ex-wives.

Same as usual - be shite. They'd need more than Downing to do otherwise, and I don't believe if they survive it will be down to him. Anelka and Bolton is a different story... True, always felt Downing was Boro's best player though and although I don't fully know their financial situation surely at least be able to hold on to him til the end of the season.
-
Jaric has a decent left peg from set pieces, don't think the others have the pace and stamina for Premiership football though.
-
What the fuck are Boro going to do for goals if Downing fucks off? I know Johnson is decent but really... is Southgate really an agent in disguise?

Viduka, Smith, Owen, Martins, Ameobi is an adequate strikeforce. As many have said we need people to supply to said individuals.
