I've just caught Sky Sports News there and all of the Birmingham fans there lauding over Steve Bruce and his players there at the promotion parade. Am I not mistaken in the fact most have been calling for his head all season?

I don't think he's the kind of player they need actually, they already have Rooney playing a pretty similar role. With what looks like Saha's departure they are more in need of a player who plays more up top like Huntelaar to latch onto things. The again Man Utd are blessed with goals from all over the park so you never know.

The chairman, although to be fair in his last season here plenty were calling for his head as it looked like his legs were going. Perhaps him playing in the three man central midfield and the fitness regiment at Bolton done him wonders.

Much appreciated for the comments there Bolton Zulu, I for one admire what Bolton have achieved despite what I feel is a false label as a long ball team as at times I've seen you play some cracking stuff on the deck. That's a myth Skirge, Viana performed fine in his first season here. It was only then in his 2nd year after being out of the team for so long and performing shockingly in an unfamiliar role when he came back people decided to say he couldn't settle.

Not sure why you think its funny - He loves that system and relies heavily upon it to tell him who is performing and who is not. He uses it as an aid but im sure he doesn't use it directly to tell him who to pick each game But can you imagine it?
