I think this is going to be one of two scenarios: 1) McClaren Mk II, where we keep him all the way until the last 10 games of the season, once again not learning any lessons. 2) Ashley + Charnley have convinced themselves they're footballing geniuses and we keep him even after he takes us down, hoping we'll bounce straight back up again, totally ignoring Bruce's record in the Championship. And, of course, we won't come back straight up.

I genuinely think the only reason they haven't scored is because they cannot believe how easy it is I think second half after the manager has let them know they should be ashamed for not having scored, they will come out and put us all out of our misery. We are stunningly bad. You can see Brighton have been coached well, they are moving the ball really well, but at the end of the day they have no real quality in attack and so no cutting edge. Good coach, s*** players. It's probably the other way round for us, although how good our players are is debatable. Probably a lot better than they are looking under the fat oaf. Gross has showed he can score goals at this level. Mooy has some quality, but today is just his first start this season and so he's a bit rusty, and Maupay has had a decent beginning to his premier league career. Think they'll dust us off in the second half tbh. They'll be a desperate subbing on of Carroll to a big cheer, and long ball after long ball will be launched at his head to get us back into it. It will fail. And then he’ll get injured for the rest of the season.

Willems has been absolute horseshit as well, but he’s been no different than the rest. He doesn’t press or even make things harder for anyone. Only Hayden has so far come out looking somewhat competent.

No shape, no tightness, acres of space for every single Brighton player. No pressing whatsoever. Shelvey sized hole in midfield, bringing on Ki instead and making the entire unit tighter will mitigate a lot of these issues. LoL good luck.

There are a few of the current squad that are more than likeable imo. If things were different would be fun with some of this lot at 'our' club. Definitely, this is also where I am in regards to the squad. The players have done nothing wrong to find themselves in this mess, it's all down to fatty as usual. Rafa's put together a decent group and the new additions seem like a decent bunch. Not sure that this is true at all. Plenty of them have publicly supported both Ashley and Bruce, and equally have had little digs at Rafa. Hopefully they'll get relegated and this time there will be huge penalties financially for them all. The radgies and English brigade definitely have, but I was thinking as a group overall. I just can’t bring myself to hate them as much as I hated the squad of our first relegation. That was quite something.

But Rafa couldn’t buy a win for 10 games last season, at least give Brucey a chance. McClaren’s ten game leeway kept getting extended all the way to the 30th.
