"Winning is what I do," said Moyes. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50950041 PFM's after watching The Irishman over Christmas.

Agreed that in isolation, it does often indicate your performance will level off at some point. However, I think the longer you ‘outperform’ it, the more chance that that doesn’t happen. See Leicester’s title-winning season. Eh? Leicester were playing fabulous football, creating loads of chances and Vardy banging them in.

3 assists. #MAGA
-
What is that now, two assists? Big Andy. Bruce's dream.

I was falling asleep watching that turgid match until this happened. Went absolutely crazy for him, so happy. He’s deserved it, and fucking finally.
-
Hiring Bruce was a masterstroke as he has many friends in the media and north east. Even Shearer has held his punches because of his mate.
-
From that video I can see how his size and movement can be deceptive to the PFM — he moves and is built like a target man but anyone who has done even an ounce of Dennis Wise scouting sees he’s more of an attacking midfield player who likes to set plays up. Strange transfer, we didn’t even need someone like that, unless it was as a Perez replacement with Rondon staying up top — so yeah, no thought given.

TBF should have an assist to his name if not for that GAYLE miss.

Joe bodychecking Andy

Anyone surprised by the amount of injuries already racked up under Brucey compared to RAFA? Commentator just called Bruce “loyal” for turning us down to stay at Birmingham years ago and then lamented about our injuries.
-
Horrendous team. Why am I watching this? Is Miggy injured or dropped?

Burnley vs Newcastle United Saturday 14th December (Kick Off 3pm No TV)

Is Miggy also injured? -
Great points but hughton did get promotion post relegation. Or did I dream that entire season?
-
A ton of loyalty he's shown during his career to fans and clubs that paid him, and let him take time off for family reasons. Sheffield Wednesday must be gutted they no longer have such a loyal man on the books.

The British managers lunch club will have been massively triggered from watching Rafa show then what tactics are all about last night. Can’t wait for the backlash on TalkSport, twitter and Facebook etc trying to justify themselves. Probably a few doing it on here too. One of my recent favourite clips is when Mourinho does the same in studio, leaving everyone speechless, and Souness pipes in, "... it's really not that complicated." Symbolized his entire time here, taking over from Sir Bobby. Sir Bobby was actually one of the most astute tacticians with an English background, but then he had a CV which showed experience all around the world, and in some of the top leagues at that. A genius.

Just back to the norm. Remember when we used to get emails from Steve McClaren? Oh man, those were awesome. "Judge me after 10 games..."

Another striker probably suited to this style is a fella named Rondon.

This is one of the worst games I’ve ever watched. If this is Bruceball, get me out of here.

Would be interesting to see how he reacts when he’s treated the same way as other managers have been by MA and LC in successive transfer windows. Will he have the balls to kick up a fuss like Rafa, or will he dedicate wins to “Mike,” like Pardew?

Five Thirty Eight has us pegged as 4th favourites to go down. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/soccer-predictions/premier-league/

Deffo an element of good fortune about it but that back heel from Silva was quality. Back heel was class tbf. Second time he's done that at SJP, no? Thought he did a similar back-heel+goal during the season opener under Pardew a few years back, when we had Riviere up front.

Everything I don’t like is neoliberal. And the more I don’t like something, the more neoliberal it is.

Yeah I follow him on Twitter as well, I’m into BDSM.
