Probably one of your best posts on here.

A wide berth to the back of the net.

NYT, WAPO, Daily Beast, etc.

An MLS-esque shot Wat what? don't you know? they hit the ball differently in America  It's not that outlandish, Dwight Gayle hits his shots differently in the Championship. I knew it would get the MLS-loving peeps on here in knots, so easy Still didn’t make any sense The implication was that MLS strikers have tons of time, space and their laissez-faire shots end up in the back of the net far more than they would in the Premiership. A league that boasts Bradley Wright Phillips as a top-scoring legend has built such a reputation amongst some, for some odd reason.

Terrible goalkeeping And the shot was very MLS-esque. I love this kid but he's not gonna score for us, I've accepted that.

It was laughable but even then, as posted above, it was understandable as it was through incompetence, with the owners' intentions in the right place. Heck, Andreas Andersson & JDT might have been as bad as Joselu for us, but at least we thought we were signing some world class players instead of giving peanuts to Rafa for Hoss. Mind you, I will remember Rafa's time way more fondly than those days, only because of the big man.

Is Lejeune back to full fitness?

I think often players who are thought of as having "no end product" are underrated. Even if they're making silly decisions at times they're generally creating more chances than others are, like ASM is
-
Comparisons to HBA are wide of the mark as HBA was smashing them into the top corner for 25 yards from his first game. ASM is too much of an unfinished article, and I don't think he will become a top player as he does lack that clinical edge, but I hope he proves me wrong. Certainly won't be improving under this oaf of a manager.

Eh, it's the most important thing for an attacking player. Don't worry about it. GE has Howe, that other fucker hated Perez for no reason, Almiron is just Conjo's 'thing' now. He's gonna be the Almiron guy until Andy gets fed up and bans him. Er, excuse me, I had Mitrovic. Haters get no love around here.

Never saw Big Mike hanging around Hamas, tbf. I'm just pulling everyone's leg on here, as much as I'm not a Corbyn fan, I'm loving Corbs' tweets about this, he's thoroughly riled up the fat one
-
One more thing to dislike him for.
-
Is that who I think it is being nutmugged? No way. Man, he was such a promising episode
-
What a full debut but this lad, did really well, the small things and the big. I haven't seen a smile that big at St. James' in a long time.
-
Literally no one scores or assists though Literally nobody else has missed as many one on ones as he has, either. We are talking about finishing clear cut chances that he’s done really well to create for himself or by making intelligent runs. We ARE allowed to mention end product in a football forum, as one attribute of a player’s ability, are we not? Or am I breaking some blasphemy code of elitist football?
-
Especially hilarious considering we have no alternative. That chance was shocking. He twice was more concerned where De Gea was then when he had the chance to take the shot on, took an unnecessary extra touch. Doesn't look like ever scoring. He is the classic example of a player in a crisis of confidence. His technique and sharpness in front of goal were better when he arrived, but it just didn't go in because he was unfortunate. Now, the boy is in his own head and his technique and sharpness with chances are suffering for it. The Longstaff family are a better are markedly superior to what Man U have in midfield, which is sad for the state of that club, but good for the state of Longstaff genetics. This is not new. I remember the same sort of fight over Anita, who was much more rubbish. True, all good points

I absolutely love Miggy and want him to succeed, but this condescension and holier than thou attitude from some wanker posters in response to anyone mentioning the fact that the kid badly needs to start producing assists or goals (even one of either would do) is typical of the state of the forum currently.
-
He keeps going on about going back to Rafa's tactics, but what does he think those are? Does he even know? I don't think he even watched us under Rafa. He probably thinks it's just formation, and "giving it a go." Clueless dinosaur.
-
Whoa. Time for a HBA-esque scapegoat for Brucey. "Dubravka ran more than this lad!"
-
Okay, I actively hate him now. This guy is scum. How many times has he mentioned Rafa now?
-
I’ve come to like Dummett but he’s going to make a great PFM manager or pundit after he retires. Someone has to take over from Savage / Sherwood.
-
He's going to make Miggy cry, isn't he? Haven't seen that beaming smile on the kid since last season.
