  1. Our midfield has been non existent bar the first couple of minutes of the game. An ocean of space for Spurs to just kick about. Agree about lack of motivation from players as well, really surprising, you’d think some of them would want to play well for the new owners. Still think we should’ve binned Bruce and had Jones in the dugout for this, but this result and performance will hopefully highlight to the new bosses just how much work is needed.
  2. Cheers HTT. I look forward to your classic posts and “Friday 3PM” ?
  3. I’d be over the moon with Potter. Seems like a good bloke as well.
  4. Bielsa. Knows how to keep a team up, and can lay solid foundations for 2-3 years. Not happening of course, why would he leave Leeds mid-season.
  5. Hello again everyone. It’s been a long time since I posted regularly. The guts had been removed, by a slow turning of the knife that punctuated each passing day under the fat man’s reign. I don’t know the person I used to be before he took over, but I am going to make the effort to begin posting a lot more. I hope some of the older posters return as well, or maybe they already have. Either way, congratulations to you all. To us. And to the absolute fucking mindfuck that is existence itself. Life is the most unpredictable thing that can happen to you. It hasn’t sunk in. Like, at all. I don’t know when it will. I have a feeling it’ll take quite some time. I do wish I was in Newcastle with many of you partying it up and letting it all out. The wife will have to put up with me doing it alone. Cheers to the future. No matter what it holds, we deserve to rid ourselves of the past.
  6. Anyone watching the NBC feed? A few seconds before the ASM goal both commentators went off at the fans, saying something along the lines of “deceptions can be a curious thing, Steve Bruce has got the same number of points as Rafa Benitez while scoring more goals and conceding less.” I didn’t even enjoy the goal right after as I was still seething from those comments. What is the point of even tuning into our games after mustering up all the courage to do so only to be gaslit and insulted constantly by commentators, pundits and media? I feel like shutting it off or watching it on mute, but then I’m still giving these assholes money. The hellscape has no end in sight.
  7. Gouff was a monster in the Champo, some of those goals.

  9. No offense. But I urge you to actually read about this virus to get an understanding of the reality the world is facing right now. Things aren’t returning to normal in early June. Many, many things need to happen (mass quarantine, testing and clearing of public spaces) at the government level for things to resume by June. UK & US seem bent on not learning from other countries.
  10. Man continues to walk into the store to complain about the store’s existence.
  11. Poor Dwight. It has to be a mental barrier for him when it comes to the premier league. We’ve seen him knock those in in the Championship.
  12. Shelvey has been out of gas since half time
  13. Can’t feel but happy for players like ASM and Miggy.
  14. Rafa had us all fooled. This management lark is easy, Bruce 4 lyfe!
  15. It’s the price you pay for attempting to disrail us *chugs water bottle until it explodes*.

  17. Wasn’t it “disrail us?” I had to rewind.
  18. For giggles I often read reactionary right and left wing fringe media, and that Edwards article is some of the worst writing I’ve ever read. He needs to start a sporting equivalent of Breitbart or Jacobin where he blames his own failings on everyone but himself and his heroes.
