  1. He's fine. Said we'll be the worst team to ever win the championship if we win it which for him is quite upbeat. I was shitting it in the last 20 or so then it cut to a shot of Rafa giving instructions to Yedlin (i think) when he was coming on and the guy just looked like calmness personified. No panic, just an arm round the shoulder calmly telling him what he wants like everything happening on the pitch was going just the way he planned. Saved me a pants change anyway, f***ing love the bloke. This. Each time they cut to him on the sidelines I feel like pinching myself, he oozes calm, experience, intelligence.
  2. This post: Loads of facts there You can see the dude slowly losing his grip on sanity at points 4, 5 and 6.
  3. We've had manager after manager trying to make us play the way Rafa's got us playing, and we've conceded bucketloads of goals under the predecessors while also getting relegated. THIS is how you build a defence, Pardew, you fucking cunt of a gerbil.
  4. Our brand of football is crap apparently, despite us having x7 their goal difference... One thing this season has taught me is that the fans of Championship teams are even more deluded than those of PL ones.

    Daryl Murphy

Unfortunately after this, it seems like Mitro is finished at this club. Murphy can play 2 more seasons and still contribute more. Was fantastic the last 2 games, I want him starting again.
  6. imagine watching the game and coming up with the opinion that Ritchie and Shelvey 'did nothing'. Stick to the rugby like. Yep. At no point did we look uncomfortable, and everyone's demeanour in our squad was, from the kick off, "we know what we're doing, let's stay calm." Huddersfield fans who didn't see how Shelvey & Colback constantly protected the back four clearly have no idea about how football works.
  7. Calamity Krul You go from zero to hero to zero on this forum faster than the front pages of The Sun.

    Daryl Murphy

Based on the evidence against Preston at home in the cup and away in the league, Mitrovic should start before Murphy. I think we've both played our hands and in reality neither should start. Murphy should start before Mitrovic. He's a better finisher and puts himself about a lot more as well. An added bonus is that he's less likely to get sent off. Murphy also knows how to head a football and get on the end of crosses.
  9. Las Palmas have no cajones. They stopped attacking or holding the ball up at 3-1 against a side with 10 men.
  10. Had my heart in my mouth everytime we passed the ball back to him or he left his line. Made great saves, so clearly a fantastic shot-stopper. But his presence just makes me nervous now.
  11. I'm a fan of his but the defensive side of his game needs significant improvement, I think. He seems to be caught either out of position or pushed off the ball by clogger-types. But even here the trajectory has been upwards, so I think he just needs a solid place in the team and a run of games to get used to English football. I like him as a personality as well on the pitch, shows he cares.
  12. Reading the teleprompter prepared by his social media team, marra. </haters on here>
  13. Returned to his sex-machine self. Unlike Mitro, he seems to know what to do with a cross coming into the box. And having watched his goal again, it wasn't a simple blast at the goal like Atsu did in the first half, he actually had to place it in the corner quickly to avoid both the defender and the keeper. A striker's goal.
  14. Yep. WOOHOO! RAFA, RAFAEL... I haven't fucking celebrated and gone mental like that in ages. This fucking club, man
  15. Brighton are playing like fucking Barcelona, though, I admit. Even at St James' earlier in the season they looked like the best team we'd played.
  16. Why don't you die in a fire. Calling it as I see it. Brighton bossing us. Brighton #1 in the league. I attribute it to a lot more than a simple trolling comment like Hughton > Rafa. Brighton have been building upto this kind of a season for years. Rafa on the other hand got a dogturd of a squad, which had been ground down to nothing by a succession of crap managers and horrendous ownership, and on top of that Rafa was shafted by Ashley in January. Lots of blame to go around.
