Rafa Benitez hasn’t jumped ship during a season in 20 years so it would certainly be out of character. Yeah Lampard will probably leapfrog Eddie Howe with all the high level knockout competition experience he’ll get in the next few years. He’s shown some good tactical adaptability too unlike Howe.

The last thing England need is a naive one way manager who has no proven success at knockout football. Wilder is the most impressive all round English manager right now.
