  1. I'd completely forgotten about him. Did he end up just staying in Turkey last summer? Yup he did. Would be interested too. Looks a cracking player. Is he just left sided or central as well?
  2. Agreed, attitude is clearly the drawback. He's certainly a talent.
  3. Exactamundo, would be a cracking signing on loan, with the option to buy, or not to buy if he's tosh, Lens haven't got much option but to let him go, and the club being associated with him is? West bleeding Brom. He's much better than any SPL shit we are being quoted with. Marseille and Tottenham are apparently in for Poldolski, surely we aren't that far behind them? Tottenham want Defoe and someone else who escapes my attention atm, so doesn't seem likely. Marseille won't be able to afford it unless they sell Cissé to the mackems, which won't happen until the summer if at all, Munich want near 10 million straight. Think it would be a good oppourtunity. Can't see Man city wanting Poldolski, and he desperately wants out of Munich. Why not? What sort of player is Dindane?
  4. Johnie Jackson has had his pop on the big stage. The likes of him & Richie Wellens are best off lower down the league looking class acts. I think he means Simeon Jackson, the guy who scored the goal. The Canadian chap? That's the one.
  5. Fuck off Villa, wasn't a pen. Mighty gills did better than I expected really, that goal was class, Jackson looks as though he should be able to step up a league or two without too much trouble.
  6. Get the fucking fuck in! cracking goal btw

Given that this section is supposed to be an objective report of ex-players playing days (and they often have a right bunch of non-entitities), this is extremely petty. Load of bollocks.
  8. Hopefully. He's complained about the need for signings several times in the past though, why disguise it this time?
  9. Many of those starts? I haven't seen that much of him this year, thought he was mainly a bench warmer.
  10. Agreed. If Shay starts tomorrow its a strong signal that he is staying. Craig just said he's starting tomorrow on SSN
  11. Were there not articles about a month back linking him with a move from Liverpool? Don't know how much there was in it. Would be perfect for us.
  12. As long as it's for one of the big 4 or a Serie A side (maybe City if they continue to put their money where their mouths are), I'll have no ill feeling. If he goes to someone like Spurs though, I'd be gutted. I would go along with that. Sounds about fair to me too. Actually, thinking about it, wasn't Trapattoni touting Shay to the Serie A clubs?

    Steven Taylor

In KK's last 4 league games, Taylor was clearly to blame for 5 goals and conceded a saved penalty if that's a representation of his 'best' form, jesus c***ing christ What a load of s**** watch the arsenal and Everton games again mate. Hardly stellar defending Comfortably not "clearly to blame for 5 goals" in those 2 games though. If he's to blame for Nicky giving away penalties he's got a fucking lot to answer for!
  14. Tony Cascarino is pretty much king of the mongs though

So you don't think stupidly risking a red card to foul Reina was playing up to the crowd? It was pure idiocy from where I was sitting. I love this about you. You read what I say and just put whatever you fancy so i'll try it. So you think Asprilla signing didn't disrupt the squad? But seriously, if he did that fine but when it comes to encouraging the crowd fist pumping itsp robably because he's jus loving playing for the club, I'm not talking about his performances in any context, I'm simply discussing his supposed playing to the crowd. I've got no problem with him pumping up the crowd, and I actually think it's fair play when he's last on the pitch at aways etc., I just wish he could engage brain before acting sometimes. The situation I posted was just an example of him not doing so.
  16. Can birds fly? hehe hes faster then Martins imo I'd like to see that race I reckon Martins is faster. I'd say so aswell Martins doesn't use his pace well though. For someone so quick, how many times do you see him running clear of the last defender? Part of it is down to the lack of any sort of through ball player in our midfield. Exactly, players like Dyer were great at the short 10 yard slide rule pass through the defence, had we kept them two fit and together, we could have had a decent little team. Dyer's pass through to Nobby away at Leeds was pretty special. One of the greatest games ever. There's an amazing photo of Nobby putting that final goal away, having gone past Ian Harte, and even their shirts demonstrate the 3-4 scoreline. Magnificent. Then get it posted man. Can't find it you tosser, I'll keep looking though. We were top of the league that day, TOP OF THE FUCKING LEAGUE, we were winning football, fucking brilliant. Tell you what though, just watched that on Dave's least favourite website, the arsenal game as well, almost brings a tear to the eye.

  21. Would be a decent squad player. Nothing exciting.
