Kaboul's was and Tiote was certainly pushing his luck. Thought the incident he actually got his yellow from was extremely harsh though. He played very well when he wasn't going mental but I was still a little surprised he didn't get taken off earlier as he looked in trouble for a while.

Bit disappointing but not the end of the world. Matched them in the first half fairly comfortably bar the last 60 seconds but not as good after the break. Missed Enrique as Lennon wouldn't have scored that goal had he been playing. Not enough going forward but the substitutions showed good attacking intent even if they didn't have the desired effect. As with the last game, they were just that bit more clinical - they exploited two half chances with great finishes and showed the difference between a promoted team and a champions league team. Nothing to get too downhearted about there, although Wigan is a huge game now.

I have to say I'm not confident in the slightest for this one. But fuck it, I wasn't for Arsenal either, stranger things have happened.

And that's helpful atm how exactly? Im not saying it's helpful right now, but we don't need to sign one as he's back relatively soon. We don't have a right winger who's good enough, that's a fact. Barton has deputised well but he isn't a winger, and I'd rather have him in the middle. Possibly, but he's been better for us on the right recently than he's ever been for us in the middle.

We need a second striker and I'd look at left wingers depending on the Ben Arfa situation or right wingers if we want to play one up front.. Wingers are absolutely crucial to our team and style at the moment.

Krul's still very young for a starting keeper in the top flight. He's improved in this run in the team as well bar the bad mistake today. I'd stick with him at the moment.

Disappointing but lots of positives. Tiote below his usual standards but a fair few decent performances in there. Mistakes happen and have cost us the game, the difference really was that they were more clinical than us. Carroll MOTM once again, even including City players imo. Won every header.

Probably the best manager of all time (in English football at least).

Diehard. Not really. I just like going to games. However fucked off I get by various temporary incumbents of the club I can't see that changing. The timing of this one's a bit frustrating given what's going on but I can't make many games at the moment so didn't want to miss out. On the plus side I'm taking my old man and it's as funny as fuck when he gets angry at the match
