Spurs top 5 this season tbh I've got them down for 6th, begrudgingly. Put together a decent squad there.

Worked very hard last night and did pretty well. Interesting thing about him was that he didn't look like a natural goalscorer based solely on those 90mins, didn't seem to bust a bollock to get into the 6 yard box at all opportunities and often went out wide as has been mentioned. It's a massive fucking step up from the reserves mind, and he'll learn a lot very quickly. Promising.

If our outfield wasn't so f***ing amazing i'd say quite the opposite. He's got faults that could see us drop quite a few points really; i'd certainly put the blame on him for that goal at West Brom earlier in the season. He's always been a really good shot-stopper but he's got all Given's other faults, just sorta multiplied. I don't love Harper at all, I think he has a fair few flaws, but I think he's still a lot more polished at his trade than Mr.Krul at this point in time. Understandably so. Would be 0 in 5 if it wasn't for his f*** up at West Brom. which looks somewhat favourable compared to Krul's 3 f*** ups against Huddersfield Is this strictly a Harper vs Krul argument? I was just speaking in general, i think LLLO was aswell. Bar wingers and maybe strikers (although Shola has started well and Loven will be easily good enough imo) I'm not worried about any of the first XI tbh, assuming Simpson continues to be good enough. Strength is my main concern throughout the squad and I wish we'd brought in a 3rd choice CB above any other position if we'd had one more transfer. Kadar may end up being decent but he shouldn't be higher than 4th choice at the moment imo.

Nah, fuck that. They're going to have to play at some point given this squad (Kadar more so, keeper injuries aren't all that common) and I'd rather they learnt how to in a game that means less. Give them minutes; it might make us a bit less likely to win but certainly doesn't rule it out.

Lovenkrands is pretty shite in midfield. I'd rather have him upfront. Shite in midfield in the premiership. So was Smith, bet he'd be fine there in this league as well. Saying that, I'd prefer to use him in his best position unless we've got no width at all.

I haven't seen this incident, so can only really comment as a concept, but I'm pleased. Players should be banned for cheating. I know it will be impossible to apply this to everyone and therefore will lack consistency, but so fuck. Saying "that's not fair, he got away with it" is fuck all defence. Every fan and manager in the country thinks the FA and referees single out their team for the worst punishment anyway so it won't make any difference on that level.

A mate at work supports Southend and rates Dervite so highly that he still has 2-3 wanks a week over him. If we sign him it will piss him off. Therefore, it would be a great signing for us; get it done.
