watching luque tonight made me think of what it would be like if you played dennis bergkamp up front as the main striker. It simply wouldnt work. if milner had been left up top and luque free to roam the results would have been similar. He had a bad game but its not his position.

OH FOR FUCKS SAKE!!! he had blisters! I know Gerrard once missed a game cos of it, and he is 'well hard'. Many many players get blisters in pre season (Most england players in 2002 WC iirc), i got them just standing at the game yesterday in the heat so sounds a fairly sensible decision.
