Is there no sign of us selling any of the deadwood we have knocking about? If we've £50m or so to spend then why not increase it to about 70 or so with sales? Obviously we probably will sell but I've seen no rumours about any of our players. I'd have thought Championship clubs would be knocking around the likes of Gayle, Ritchie, Clark, Hendrick etc by now.

How does that work with demolishing the lower level of the two large stands and keeping that layout? Raise the pitch?

We shouldnt but we should stop with the "famous number 9" and "Alan Shearer's old number" etc. Its just a number and just puts unneeded pressure and expectations on whoever wears it.

Always really liked Mane. A brilliant player who kept his feet firmly on the ground and just got on with his football. Does so much charity work and never forgets his home in Africa. Football is full of prima donnas who aren't fit to lace Mane's boots. He'll be a great addition to Bayern and a big loss to Liverpool.

Don't forget turning the boardroom into something from a strip club.

Eriksen would be a super signing. Improves us immensely and doesn't interfere with financial fair play.

I still think we need another striker as well as Ekitike. He's very young and might not hit the ground running, then we've Wilson who will probably be out for 12 weeks before October. Suddenly Wood might be finding his way back into the starting 11.

We need to offer this guy a take it or leave it deadline so we can move on. Sick of this dragging on now. Clubs are making signings left right and centre and we’re messing about waiting for this lad and this Hugo kid to make their minds up.
