He said "news came out yesterday" about it. That would have been 3 days ago. Dunno where he's got that from.

I haven't read the last few pages but Adam P said in his latest video that only clubs outside of the UK can trigger the release clause. Is that right?
-
They’ll be looking to push for promotion again this season so no surprise to see big changes. It’ll be the same again every year until they get to the top I’d have thought.

Seems weird to launch all this this week when there's an entire new range of Adidas stuff coming next week. I like the look of some of the stuff but will definitely wait and see whats there next week as the Adidas stuff will probably be better. I do like this though.

The problem today is that most of us thought City would walk the final so 7th last week looked like a good season with European qualification that has now been taken off us.
-
I don’t know what sickens me more the fact that we’ve no Europe or that Man Utd finished fucking below us and they’ve got it. Losing out as well to Chelsea who couldn’t give a fuck about being in the Conference League when we would have loved it.
-
It’s just textbook us to finish above Man Utd then after the league is over they snatch Europe from us. Can we just fast forward about 3 years to when we’ve enough quality in the squad to just win shit ourselves without relying on other teams.
-
City just had to show up to this half pissed didn’t they.
-
Really don't want Calvert-Lewin but Howe probably does given that we've been constantly linked to him. I trust the club to make the right signings so I'll back whoever we sign.
-
Can't believe this lad is only 30, I was sure he was close to retirement.
-
Love that post. Will never tire of reading it.
-
I really don't get this Calvert-Lewin stuff. Don't rate him at all and we could spend that money a lot better.
-
No chance we sign Bowen with our FFP constraints but he would be phenomenal for us. Would love to see it.
-
I've taken a good few of my mates over from Ireland to Newcastle loads of times and for one reason or another we've ventured into Sunderland a few of those times and they think its some sort of club rivalry banter when I tell them the mackems think their city is better than Newcastle. They think its a complete and utter shit hole and absolutely love Newcastle.

I'd like to think Ashby wouldn't be getting released when we paid £3m for him just last year.

Im not totally against the idea of looking at a new crest. But the process would need to involve a vote from members and season ticket holders and whatever new crest is chosen should go to a final vote against the current crest. I don’t think theres anything wrong with having a look at it, it’s not as if we haven’t changed it several times before.
-
No chance Howe would go to them. Who the fuck would? If they gave Poch the road they'd do it to anyone at any time.
-
Honestly I think the front is good, the back is terrible though and totally ruins it.

Schar PSG was brilliant, the tackle before it then boom. But for me the Barnes West Ham one is it. 3-1 down, miserable as fuck and potentially blowing any chance of European football then Barnes saves us with a late winner. An absolute classic game and a massive moment in our season if we go on to get Conference League.
-
Think that’s gone now yeah. I think the top 8 in the league progress with 9th to 16th having a play off to see who plays the top 8.
-
Think there are still group/league games after Christmas into January with the new format as well.

It’s nothing really to do with Pep for me. He’s got a squad of players and is doing a great job with them. But Man City as a football club wouldn’t have Pep, those players and such domination of English football if it wasn’t for the years of cheating that made them the entity they are today.
-
It will and it won’t as long as we don’t start messing about and end up with over a hundred charges at some stage. Previously the club didn’t spend anything and was grossly neglected, now we’re growing the club while staying within the rules and are only doing what we are allowed to do, what everyone else can do. A large part of our success so far is we’ve bought well and recruited a good manager, anyone can do that but City have blatantly cheated and are paying top lawyers to bury it all.

I used to not give a fuck about City winning everything. They were just a bit of a soulless entity to me, lacking the annoyance and arrogance of Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal. But I have to say its getting a bit uncomfortable watching this every year and knowing it shows absolutely no sign of stopping. Seeing old records that have stood for decades get broken by a club that has been built on spending absurd amounts of money and breaking countless rules to the point where they cannot be touched just doesn't sit well with me, and I genuinely believe it doesn't get talked about enough from neutral fans because everyone is generally happy to see Arsenal, Liverpool etc come second. Seeing things happen to them like winning trebles, four in a row, probably a quadruple and an unbeaten season soon just totally diminishes what used to be genuinely brilliant achievements in England, and I know they still are far from easy things to accomplish but they're definitely watered down when City do it.
