No offence, but this is massive bullshit. As if Ashley cares when in the window the deal happens. If he wants to sell Cabaye, he will. If he wants to buy someone, or not, he will. This conspiracy about doing everything not to make signings is honestly bordering on paranoid delusion. So if PSG offered a fee he wanted in the first week of the window he would sell? leaving a full window with fans demanding all of the money is invested. We are safe in our league position so buying players this month will not interest him at all, we are the mugs who pay to go and watch the team play. We want new signings we want an improved team. Ashley would prefer to do the deal late so the club can use the lack of time excuse for not investing the money. What difference does it make to do it now or in the summer? Because Cabaye will definitely be replaced if he goes.
