I think we all need to get a bit of perspective, we don't want to set ourselves up for a massive fall. It's great to win two games in a row but realistically Villa are a poor side and they absolutely battered us in the second half. That kind of attitude and game plan is always going to be a possibility under Pardew. The Chelsea game was absolutely fantastic, but we do generally raise our game against the sides towards the top of the table, we were pretty good at Old Trafford as well. I can't see us getting 20+ points in our remaining games given that we only got 27 in our first 25 games.

Given the season we have had I seriously doubt we can go on a run of 7 games unbeaten, or even a run of 3 wins on the trot (when was the last time we did that). There's absolutely no chance of Pardew going in the summer because if he was going to be sacked for this season he'd have gone already. Hopefully he can replicate last season because I'd hate for us to have more mediocrity with this squad of players man.

I can't really disagree with anything he has said there tbh. The only bit that slightly annoys me is talking about Chelsea like they are a massive club when they're not, but you can't argue that they are all about winning trophies more so than us and that he will most likely win something there.
