To think Man City could be adding the likes of Nasri to their squad before the window closes man, their squad is ludicrous.

Listening to this now. "Tayls isnt the sharpest tool in the box" This is great.

I wouldnt play 433 away from home unless we have the personnel to make it work, which we dont. I'd go with: Krul Simpson Taylor Colo New LB Barton Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ba/New ST Shola Shola loves to score against the mackems, he has to play.

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton Bad shirt, shoes and views from shearer again. Sort it out slaphead........
-
piersmorgan Piers Morgan @Joey7Barton what were you doing dragging Gervinho up in the first place? You should have gone for that, never mind your own shocking dive. Joey7Barton Joseph Barton @piersmorgan I was merely helping him regain his obviously dodgy balance #cheatingbarsteward

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton What do people want me to do, stand and trade blows with Gervinho. If u raise ur hands to players faces, u should beoff. Ref got it right...

Might have a couple of new faces in before this. I'd fancy Newcastle to do the business against the mackems. 2-0, Shola and Barton. What a shit time for a match though, 12 on Saturday.

He is trending on Twitter, getting ripped out for saying he didnt see anything http://twitter.com/#!/search/%22Steven%20Taylor%22

Joey Barton is a great man.

Cant wait for the picture of him and Carroll laughing and joking around.

I think Simpson might be tried at LB, simply because Taylor can play RB. --------------------Harper--------------------- Taylor---Williamson---Colo---Simpson Obertan-----Tiote-----Cabaye-----Jonas -------------Best------------Ba------------- A bit shit really as I think Barton on that right side would give us a really decent midfield for this game. Enrique's departure completely rattles the defence though, so hopefully this is the only game without a decent LB. We're going to be weak as fuck down that left side tomorrow.

You're completely forgetting his good statistics against the weaker team previous season..Why risk Ba against a shit team like QPR, it's much better to use Loven..If he's injured, the crisis isn't that big.. Did we rest the likes of Shearer against the so called lesser teams? You play your best players week in week out if they're fit.

Lovenkrands isnt good enough anyway, he is another body in the squad yes, but a worthless one.

Not always. There are plenty of clubs whos ambition is to just stay in the division and reap the financial gains each year. We're one of them. reap the financial gains ? how many run at a profit ? Doesnt matter, they earn a hell of a lot more in the Premier League than in the Championship. so reap the finacial gains really means do as best you can without going under ? How much money do clubs get in the likes of the Championship for TV etc? Compare that to the Premier League. Some clubs are happy to sit around midtable and get that money, rather than sink to the 2nd tier and not get it. The money is going somewhere if the club is getting it and not using it. does that even make sense ? where the money goes has been done to death and yes i believe we could spend a bit more than we have (still think we will aswell) Whats so hard to understand? Clubs get a hell of a lot more money in the Premier League than the Championship, so some are happy to stay in the Premier League and pick it up. By that I mean staying around midtable and not spending enough to make that move to the top 6 or top 4. Ambition equals safe in the middle of the table each year.

The problem for me isnt Jose, its Newcastle. Im pissed off that we are losing a player like him when we have the funds available to compete within the top 8 and we arnt spending anything (we're in profit for the summer). Jose though, I wish him the best of luck, he has ambition and will never reach it here with Ashley in charge.

When this goes through, we are net £4.2million? Who would have thought that when we sold Carroll

I wish he would just paint the stadium and put in coloured SD seats already. Are you allowed to paint on the grass?
