I think it will be our 2nd side tbh with the likes of Smith, R.Taylor, Campbell, Lovenkrands and Shola featuring and other areas being filled with 2 or 3 of our first 11. Probably no kids starting.

Aye that makes the other 26 games totally pointless.

Them scoring 3 past Man Utd doesnt fill me with confidence for this. Will more than likely be another defeat. If we lose to Chelsea after this we could well be in trouble in terms of moral and confidence. The Stoke game is absolutely huge.

Hughton is a manager who is learning his trade. Today is a learning curve for him i.e. he NEEDS to drop the players who played really well last year but are not good enough at this level, i.e. Nolan and players who somehow have a reputation as being a good player i.e. Smith. Needs to show some balls and drop those 2.

We said at the start of the season that the likes of Smith etc would send us back down to the Championship. I think today was proof that they will. We are very lucky to have Tiote and Ben Afra though, its just a question of when Hughton will drop his golden boys Nolan and Smith for better players.
