Is it? Why would a player here starting every week leave us for Man Utd? We're up there competing with them this season as it is nevermind before we make improvements in the transfer window. After the next couple of windows Man Utd will be a side step for players. Man Utd are living off pure reputation and past glories, on a footballing level we're closing the gap to them with every window and the thought of someone like Almiron going to them is laughable to me. What would he go for, European football? Its likely we'll have it next season ourselves. Chance of winning silverware? This season yeah on paper, but after this season its as much a good chance here as it is there. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Man Utd aren't a top club because they clearly are. But at the minute I'd have them the 5th or 6th best out of the top 6 and we're already on the fringes of that and you'd fancy us with everything going on bridge the gap quickly.

No reason Joelinton can't start when he's finishing up after this week, also Pope could easily start too, ASM needs the time on the field. But they are competing with City. They've outperformed them in Europe and domestically they've went toe to toe with them losing leagues by like a point or 2, beating them once. Those fine margins are probably down to the managers really. I genuinely cannot see what Liverpool fans want. Maybe they're just super annoyed at the Super League thing?

Can someone explain to me why Liverpool fans are so happy and desperate to get these owners out? From what I can see their owners did the following: - Appointed and supported a world class manager. - Invested heavily in the playing staff. - Team had massive success winning the CL and PL amongst other trophies. - Invested heavily in upgrading and expanding the stadium. - Built a world class training facility. What more can they do like?

Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool are pretty inconsistent this season so beat Chelsea and strengthen in January and why can't 4th be on the cards? I still think it'll be a huge task to maintain this form, especially following our next defeat which is gonna come at some stage you'd imagine. Still doing all this without Isak btw. If it does start to look like we might be finishing 6th or 7th later in the season it would be such a shame if those spots weren't European spots. BTW we've only lost to a 98th minute goal at Anfield this season, why couldn't we just go out and win one of those fucking cups?

I dunno if I'd rather be 3rd tonight or be 11 points ahead of Liverpool like. I think if Spurs win there's a good chance we'll finish above Liverpool which would be fucking class.

Hopefully ASM comes on in the next few minutes, and starts against Palace. We could do with him being flying fit for Chelsea.
