it's frustrating not knowing how his rehab is going, what level is he at now, what kind of training is he doing, how far from fitness is he, how he's doing and so on. Not heard/read anything at all lately, not very much in detail anyways. Would love to read a big and long interview with him about his progress and thoughts. Annoying knowing shit!!!!

From what i've seen so far Sessegnon has been quite poor.

Just watched Ben Arfa vs Everton for the 50-11th time. Still cant believe we got a player of his talent, no matter how inconsistent he can be, that little extra magic every now and then he can come up with gets you so excited wondering what he'll do next on the pitch. I forget quite often that we even have him at our club, too bad we didn't get to see very much of him. At this moment i just want us to secure our Premier League contract so that we can look forward to next season with Ben Arfa and hopefully a few other exciting players strengthening our team. I know it's likely we'll stay up but as long as there's a IF i cant feel 100% relaxed. If we make it through this season we can push on for better things next season hopefullu, without having to worry about relegation stuff.

Nothing saying that Barton cant drift a little to the right hand side in a 3 man midfield (diamond or not)

I know that Barton has been playing very well on the right, it's also his first season without as many injurys as before. He hasn't exactly had any decent wingers with some movement/pace when he has played in CM, doesn't make it easier to perform either.

i'm thinking along these lines too - HBA on the left, Payet-type on the right, new attacking midfielder (essentially a nolan upgrade). Problem is, which striker can you bring in that is going to be good enough and physical enough to play upfront on his own in the premiership? much easier to bring in 2 strikers to play alongside each other. That's a good question, been thinkin this myself so i took the easy option and just wrote "new cf" I like this system, and it's easier to find a quality player who can play in the role behind the striker between the oppositions defense and midfield like Ménez for example than it is to find a central AM who is good enough to play in a 4-4-2 in the premier league when you have to be quite strong defensively as welll unless you're willing to be weak in central midfield, many times it's either good offensively or the other way around, unless you have a shit load of money and are attractive enough as a club. If we could find the right CF and buy players like Menéz and Payet im sure we could have a very good season with some luck, at least potentially a very very good team that could also play beautiful football.

Read on a Roma forum that Jéremy Ménez could be on his way out. Would love to see him behind a central forward in a 4-2-3-1 system. I was thinking about him a few days ago but i thought he would be way out of our league, im not sure but i think the article said that his contract ends up in 2012. Yeah, said the same yesterday, im impressed with him so far, has more talent than i thought tbh, still early but looks promising. Somehow it feels like he has learned alot from Enrique and tries to play the same way, working well so far, that saying without knowing really.

I just want this season ended now, with us still in this league for next season. It's painful, i think we'll be okey, buts there's still alot of hard work to do to say at least. I just want us secured and hopefully we can move on from there and rebuild. Cant take it if we're going to struggle for a new PL contract every season, if we go down again im afraid we'll be doomed this time and probably not get as quickly as last time.

I like him but he's not good enough for next season and needs to be replaced, but i woulld still like to see him with us mind.
