One thought that excites me is having a midfielder capable of finishing the chances that drop here and there inside and just outside the penalty area. We have quite a few chances per game where a top quality finisher filling in from midfield could score quite a lot of “extra” goals.

Could be a very very good signing. Especially for the price of the rumoured release clause. Him and Ugarte and it’s looking good when it comes to midfield. I imagine that lots of clubs will try for him though. At our club he would get plenty more game time compared at others. Plus an exciting project.

A full week of preparation both physically, mentally as well as tactically is massive boost after 3 tough games. We need to start well and be more focused and on our toes as we have been quite “off it” and sloppy in the first 45 against West Ham and Brentford. Tough game but it can go either way. I’d be content with a draw but I reckon we can win it comfortably too if we are on it from the off. Spurs have to play Villa away too.

I have to say I’m glad that Spurs don’t play ManU in the last game week or similar. Now they both have all to fight for when they play. Wouldn’t have surprised me if they did anything to keep us away from reaching a CL place if it was possible.

Wouldn’t want us to give that club a single quid.

Probably would cost a bomb and not sure about him regarding his fitness as he recently tore his knee ligaments but I see Florian Wirtz is tearing it up again. Might not be realistic considering the price and depending on what other clubs are after him. He will no doubt be one of the worlds best players soon if he can stay fit. We are more likely going for a cheaper alternative to get more bodies in. Probably rightly so. We have been linked but it might be too ambitious.

Much much much much rather pay £50m for Ugarte/Kone than even as ”little” as £25-30m for Mctom. Without a shadow of doubt. Not that he would be that cheap. Love Longstaff but upgrade on him and make him more of a squad player. Happy and good egg as well as a good player to have around. The way to go instead of buying players for expensive money that won’t make much of a difference. We need to aim forward and not stand still. If we need more depth then go for young promising players or cheaper alternatives. Buy it nice or buy it twice.
