I’d also play Targett who think will do a good job against Favela face. rather have Murphy coming on for ASM if needed because of tiredness. IF we lead then they might push us back towards the end and commit a lot of players forward. Then Murphys simple straight forward style and work rate could come in handy for the counter. I'd be tempted to give us the best chance possible of beating ManU and Everton. Then maybe rest a couple against Spurs if absolutely necessary. I see Spurs in the top 4 no matter what. More important that we beat and steal points from ManU who are rivals for a top 7 or there abouts, and even Everton even though i dont see them close to european places.

We’ve been good, no doubt about it, and we’ve made the opposition look bad too in many ways. But still, let’s not forget that Fulham were extremely naive and bad tactically after they went a man down and we played 85 minutes with 11 vs 10. Brentford we did well to force pressure them into mistakes but they still made massive mistakes that shouldn’t have happened 9/10 times when under pressure. We are a much much stronger side overall with Joelinton and ASM in it. Let’s not kid ourselves. Obviously depends on fitness but they will give us a better chance of beating ManU. Targett in for me too for a slightly quicker back four. Although this would make us less flexible to play three with trippier almost playing as a winger. I’d play Targett anyway.

ASM if fit enough should come in imo. Even more importantly I think Joelinton and Targett should come in for Longstaff and Burn. I still don’t think Longstaff offers enough. Pressing is key and Joelinton is twice the player when it comes to this, and stronger in general. Burn out for tactical reasons. Worse on the ball and to suffer less from their pace on the break with Targett in. Depending on ASM fitness I guess I might be ok with Murphy starting because he can be decent with his pace and physicality. Make no mistake though, ASM is ten times the player so I would start him if reasonably fit and Murphy will just have to deal with it. Good rest for him too.
