Sounds dirt cheap from what I’ve read about him. I like the idea of going for the best young players around and mould them into our own stars with Howe and his teams coaching.. I've never wanted us to buy overpaid stars/divas that are too coloured with their current clubs already. Especially from PL top 6 clubs. Players in their prime or on their way up is the way to go. Ones with great hunger and mentality.

Perrone sounds like a proper talent already playing at a very high level. Wonder what he’d cost if we get him. Maybe our Enzo Fernandez in a year or so.

Regarding Ashley Youngs comment on the penalty. If you have ever thought about eating seagull shit, this is the proof that it’s not good for you.

Momentum and a high level of consistency is massive, especially this year where most teams can beat the other team with some luck. If we manage to have consistency then that can take us very very far. Not many teams are consistent this year. Only Man City. Arsenal have been very good but I can see them dropping off if they have a couple of bad results.

Normally if we were say in 9th or 10th place or thereabouts I don’t think we would do any major business whatsoever. However, there’s a real opportunity at this moment and season. We have done better than expected, we are very high up the table and looking very strong already with lots of other teams either struggling or not reaching their full potential. There’s the opportunity and a massive chance to at least try and aim for too 4 and maybe even reach it by the end of the season with some luck regarding injuries and the massive wave of momentum we are riding right now. Everything is possible. Think we have a good chance to attract most players now and push on even further, even if it’s not always easy to sign players in January. I also don’t think we should sign more than 1-2 quality players. Massive opportunity now to take advantage this season, even if it means taking money from next summers budget. Makes no difference, we just need to sign less in the summer so might as well do it now. Next season many teams might be going strongly, and we might be less good. I think the people running the club will think the same and go for it in January. IF we manage to reach the CL or even EL it would be massive in many ways. Go for it!

His ball to Trippier was absolutely class. He tries to control it in his chest but didn’t quite manage to. Same with the pass to Miggy. Brilliant over the top of their defenders. Perfectly weighted and with a slightly snooker backspin dropping into a very small space.

Good to have options aye. For once we have a nice problem lads. We need to get used to it.

Thanks Eddie, you and your staff and everyone involved have turned it around from absolutely miserable and depressing times to support nothing into something absolutely amazing in such a short period of time. It’s “just” football but it sure as hell has made my life much happier. Feels absolutely unreal to not having to think “why why did I ever start loving a club this much”. Before I would have paid good money to get rid of every connection to the club. Now I’m absolutely loving everything and am a much more positive guy in everyday life too. Don’t wanna sound profound or anything but damnit how times have changed for the better. This is just the start to lads. There will be ups and downs but I will keep reminding myself to not forget where we have been. Get in lads!!

I can’t argue against this as I completely agree with you mate. Just a minor detail I felt mentioning. He’s been class for us and also a great character in every way. He has done more than anyone could have asked for.

He’s been very good. However I think he’s a bit too slow on the ball at LB and sometimes not very good. At CB he is more than good enough because there he has more time on the ball.

Zero chance of Bellingham, 100%. Only teams capable of getting him is RM and PSG IF they threw the kitchen zink at it, and even then I doubt it. Man City too could happen. Doubt even BM could get him, and I also doubt they will try.
