Howay I have tried, I have tried hard, but I cannot even come close to understanding how anyone - faced with the facts - could have been anything but confident that this Takeover would succeed. Based purely on the calibre of the people buying us, it was never going to be in doubt. All we have to do (during the current quiet period) as I have said time-after-time on here, is WAIT !!! The PIF have officially withdrawn their bid to buy NUFC. Doesn't matter if they are still interested.

IF this takeover is likely to happen, and relatively soonish, even if not completed in January. Then surely the new owners will "demand" that we strengthen the team in January, even if not as much as the new owners would have done coming in before the months end. Personally I don't see the takeover going through unless we do at least some sort of decent business in January. Or at least get rid of the useless manager.

People can talk about various reasons and obstacles and whatever, but the thing is does anyone really have a clue about this? (nope). We have no idea what issues have been ironed out and what not. I mean some of the earlier (which we aren't even sure about) might have been solved.

If used correctly he can contribute a lot more than he does now, even if not scoring or assisting a lot. I think he's absolutely sick about playing under Bruce. Who can blame him. Our team doesnt even function against league 2 sides.

He's not being used correctly, he plays for a manager who doesn't believe in him, in a non functioning team, low confidence. Should he do better? Yeah probably. Should he be written off? No. Especially not when you've seen how he can contribute. He's never gonna be one of the best players in the league, but let's not kid ourself that he ain't PL quality.

Did well last night. Keeping it simple with no dwelling on the ball makes the play more fluid. Evaluated play well and didn't treat the ball like an old WW2 bomb. Him being able to move around, is a massive plus alone.

Their U18 squad must be bigger than Chelseas.
