I believe it because I'm certain that Rafa started his planning ages ago, and would have expected a few of his targets in by now, and rightly so. Can understand why you'd choose not to tbf.

There's no doubt that he's frustrated, but probably not as bad as it sounds. Knowing this club it could very well escalate in a short period of time though. Rafa doesn't mess around, he wants and expects things to be done.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Benitez is getting frustrated as fuck regarding the lack of transfers. He's a man that wants things done quickly so that he can start his preparations for the new season. Man works 24/7 and there's no doubt that he'd have liked a few signings in by now, for sure.

I'm not that bad to be fair

Whatever reasons there are I would like us to get most of our deals done earlier than what looks likely now. I understand that it's not always as easy as one would think. Would be/have been nice to get them in earlier so that we're ready for the new season when it starts. We have a lot of work to do and quite a few players to sign and the earlier the better I think. People say that last year we signed late on, yeah, you're right, but at the same time we were about to start playing in a weaker league where our quality compared to the other sides would shine through despite us maybe not having the optimal time to gel. On paper our starting fixtures could have been much harder and it would be nice to get a great start and some wind in our sails. Hopefully we'll have done most of the hard work so far when it comes to getting our targets, and that they will drop in one after one pretty quickly. Not panicking yet but it's time to start getting them over the line
