Do strikers like Gray, King, Deeney and so on score against the top sides in the league? Or is it just average strikers scoring against average teams? (Many teams in the PL are bad, even most I'd say). Genuine question as it feels like there are quite a few strikers that score around 10 which isn't really impressive tbh. King might have scored more maybe. I hope we aim higher than Gray for example.

MOYES GONE Sunderland AFC has announced that David Moyes has resigned from his position as manager of the football club. David advised the chairman and chief executive of his decision to leave the club at a meeting in London this morning (Monday 22nd May 2017). Speaking about the decision, chairman Ellis Short stated: “I pursued the services of David Moyes for a considerable period prior to his appointment last summer, which makes the announcement of his departure difficult for everyone concerned. “Having worked tirelessly throughout the campaign to avoid relegation from the Premier League, David has chosen to leave the club without compensation, which is testament to his character. “In the days ahead we will take some time for reflection, and then focus on recruitment and pre-season as we prepare for our Championship campaign. We wish David well in the future.” David Moyes said: “I would like to thank Ellis Short and the Board for giving me the opportunity to manage Sunderland and the fans for always being so passionately supportive of their club. “I wish the players and my successor well in their efforts towards promotion back to the Premier League”.

Going by Youtube or have you actually seen him?
-
Have absolutely no idea about him Only seen that long shot online.
-
Sounds like this could be a goer.

He hasn't been injured that much this season though as he? Its more him not getting picked Maybe you're right, but at the same time maybe that's the reason he hasn't been injured as much. I just think he'd be a bit too big of a risk for 20-25m or whatever.

I don't want Sturridge! (very good player though)

How much?

His hands aren't that big tbh.

I can see Rafa looking to sign a decent core of players used to the PL to give us a solid foundation to build on from further ahead. Can't see him going for too many players that need to adapt to the English culture, learn the language and get used to the league and so on. Mainly he'll want players that are ready from the off. At least 60-70% of our signings will probably have some sort of experience of playing football in England. It might not be the most exciting or "exotic" players but he will be creating a solid team to begin with and that's probably quite a wise thing to do and healthy for the long term. Hopefully we can get a couple of exciting players to add some pace and flair as well as end product, which I'm sure he'll try to sort out.

Yet you've been telling people on here to not expect much regarding incoming players during our first season back
-
Would gladly take Chambers and Maguire

Because he's not an attacking player It's not a coincidence that France and Toulouse didn't play him anyway near as offensively as we did. He was practically a DM in Ligue 1 ffs, not really his fault we were asking him to do something he simply cannot do. I agree with Triggs here tbh, people on here massively overrate his ability as a footballer. He's genuinely not that good. He was box to box in France.

He could do some great and powerful runs when he was at it, unfortunately it very rarely resulted in anything of note. s*** whining Vuitton bag.

Ince can fuck off! Don't want him. Average!

I'm just messing around mate Cheers for the update
