Think Rafa will keep him as he's tactically intelligent and also a good footballer although limited to some degree. There's many other players that i would like to see us get rid of before Anita. Anita isn't a world beater or anything but he is professional and consistent when he plays regularly. I like his attitude.

He did get into advanced positions in the Euros, quite a few times. Didn't result in more than a few nice runs from deep. Glad in every way to have him off the books. For £30m we can get so much better when we're hopefully back in the PL.

I thought that goals wins you games. As long as there's other players out there that makes the team tick And Perez is not at the level he's able to be at yet. He will be more involved once his confidence gets higher.

If Perez continues in this direction and performs at the level we know he can then he will make that position his own soon and then he won't be rotated as much.

I have a pretty good feeling i will enjoy him in the PL next year as well. At least not writing him off now already. It's safe to say that he's on a different level mentally now compared to before, and so much more fit. This is the biggest reason he is doing THIS well. Last seasons Shelvey would never be this good, not even in the Championship, not a chance. Also, when confident and enjoying your football you also work harder and want the ball more than usual. This is also another reason that he gets so much time on the ball. Good players manage to do this better than others. I'm sure the opposition knows Shelvey and that he is our best player and that they should stop him, but it's not always that simple just putting a man close to him all the time.

Despite having a quite poor season overall so far he's managed to score 5 goals i think. Thing is that we have looked a class above in most of the games so far, and the best part is that we will get better and better. We still have players that we can do even better than they have done so far. With Rafa it's safe to say that he will never be satisfied, always looking to improve every single detail. Fine tuning, more tuning, and again and again.. Lately you have been able to see how much we have improved from the beginning of the season. Players starting to gel, create a bond and an understanding between them, knowing who does what and when and why. Getting more and more well drilled and being aware of exactly what to do under the command of Rafa. Absolutely Love supporting this club and team right now, makes me so much more happy, outside of the football as well. Great stuff
