Feel the same. Earlier today I came to think about that part in the movie Interstellar where a few of them visit that other planet and when they come back the same age every else has gotten like 40 years older.

I genuinely don’t remember the last time I was this “good” so soon after a loss. I’m feeling more proud than disappointed to be totally honest. Overall we were the better team and we looked very very solid and created quite a few chances that perhaps should have scored with a bit more luck and cutting edge. A few situations where that last edge was missing. I really liked our game plan and how we cut them open with ease. We looked fluid and aware in more or less every detail. Botman is just a class act. Burn hade done fantastically well but Botmans’s extra star ability makes a massive difference. Will be really interesting to see how we look with a hopefully fully fit and available Sven next season. Add some extra genuine technical ability and quality plus a keeper with great feet and the sky’s the limit. Obviously dependant on squad depth/injuries. I really like how we’ve been playing a couple of different systems and how quickly EH has got it spot on overall. I hope and it wouldn’t surprise me if Eddie wants an attacking midfielder and have yet another option and perhaps go more in the mould of 4-2-3-1 as well, without the typical kind of #10, but a more dynamic AMC to give something different from central midfield. Exciting times! Now let’s batter Everton and grab that CL spot and it’s been an extra amazing season.

I wouldn’t sell him if it was for a tiny profit. Also, IF we did sell him then I would go for a very highly rated young winger and use the money for other areas.

I wouldn’t actively try to sell him, absolutely not. However, IF we get an offer that is very very good then I wouldn’t be against it. He’s very good but also a bit limited in some regards. Only makes some kind of sense to sell him if it means we can get a couple of extra quality players to strengthen in our weaker areas. I don’t rate him as highly as I do Botman, Hall, Isak, Bruno and Tonali.

We won’t. No matter what we do the squad will still be short of quality in depth. Especially when being in Europe. A decent run in the CL (if we get it) and hopefully making the CL again next time along with doing well domestically in the cups. That would be great progress.

Obviously. I think people in here are kind of confident but it means so much to everyone and anything can happen so it’s only natural to have the emotions about it and have the underlying fear of missing out despite it being relatively unlikely. Everyone just wants it so much.

Early goal(s) please, and no sitting back when we lead. Don’t allow them to pick up momentum and bomb the box with balls. We do this and we often really struggle to get control of the game again. Especially since the anxiety in the crowd hits in. I would honestly die if we lead only 1-0 and start sitting back too much of the second half.
