Dummett was very poor i thought. Good in the air but my God he is poor on the ball, punting it forward to no one and also got skinned a few times.

We were the better team despite not getting out of second gear all game. I don't like to lead with only one goal though as it's a very thin line between 2 points dropped and 3 won. We need to finish teams off earlier. Leading with only one goal will always give the opposition hope of scoring a goal in whatever way late on. One in the post for example (Gouffran i know) and god knows how many late corners and long throw ins at the end.

Feels like a life time away the next game...

True, must of been too long since he was in that kind of form so i forgot about him. At least he can beat his man when in tight positions (maybe not so much in open play)

Something i really liked about him today was when he sprinted and won the ball back after giving the ball away quite easily a couple of times. Showed great attitude Like you said Newcastle Fan, i thought he ran relatively fast as well.

Ritchie? I wouldn't class him in that category tbh. He's very good but not really that kind of player imo.

There's still like 42! points to play for this year. A few of the teams down the table will find some form soon and steal points from the current top 5-6, definitely. Hopefully not from us.

We have 14 games left to play this year (Championship) and we've played most of the teams at the top of the moment. Hopefully we can go up a gear or two and go on a long run or two and start pulling away. it wont be easy.

He has barely fucking played at all, so it's too early to say that he will flop or rip up this division.

It's a looong time until january, and a lot can happen between now and then, both ways. If needed then we should strengthen of course. It could also be that we don't have to buy much/at all and keep our powder dry for next season when/if we get promoted and go for real quality.

I knew that he was supposed to be quick and irrational, able to beat his man and that. However, i didn't expect him to have that silky natural touch as he showed today at least. There's a lot of players out there that can be quick footed and dribble past their man at times, but many of these are quite raw and miss that bit of flair and that extra bit of touch on the ball. He has a lot to prove and has failed before for whatever reasons, but he has more natural talent in his feet than i thought he would have. Hopefully he can have his breakthrough with us and grow as a player and settle down for once. Way too early to expect anything future wise after a few flashes of brilliance. Just wanted to say that he's got a better touch than expected. Also thought that he did well and köpt it simple when needed.
