Decent going forward when it comes to carrying the ball, yes. No end product whatsoever and poor defensively. Always liked his first touch and how he floats when he runs with the ball though. Not a very good player overall.

Yeah rather something like this than spending £10-15m on some other unproven CB (high level), and keep Mbemba and Lascelles as our main pairing. I think they will do and combine well as we've seen for a few games at least. Other important positions to fill. But i guess Mbemba will be gone for a while and there's quite a few games to play..

Alright as a squad player. Personally i'd want a CM with more expansive passing. One that has good vision and can confidently and in a calm way spray the ball around and dictate the game and tempo. Would be nice if that player could move around a bit as well. Saying that, we're in the Championship and he'd probably do well on this level, but i hope that we aim higher anyway.

Sounds like he and Lascelles could complement Mbemba really well. Personally I prefer one of the CB to have a bit of extra pace. Especially if you play a high defensive line. But it's not all about pace of course, alot about positioning and decision making of course. I really like Mbemba and I think he is really good and will become even better with time under Benitez. Composed player. I know we're not used to it, but it's good to have more than 2 decent cb's, and still i think that we shouldn't "break up" the partnership between 50 cent and Jamaica. Depth...
