Ashley's first huge decision will be based on who will be our next manager. If he gives everything he can to bring Mourihno and then Mourihno is succesfull i think Ashley will become legend in Newcastle...but if we appoint Redknapp or Mclaren...well we all know what is going to happen because we watched this movie several times already in the past 3 years Agreed!! MA and CM should do everything that it takes to get Mourinho to the club. It might cost alot but it could turn out to be a great investment in a few years. I would go for Yoann Gourcuff and Manuel Fernandes. Two players that i really like and who i think can be great players for this club, they hardly play at all for their clubs. Young players both of them.

get Arshavin in who can play in quite a few positions, loan gourcuff (spelling) or buy him from Milan, he never gets the chance there and is a good and really promising player from what i have seen, also try and go for Manuel Fernandes from Valencia, dont know if he's just on loan there or something like that as i remember he was owned by some company. well buy or loan. if we had not signed Shitty Smith and Barton we could of financed these deals without having to spend alot. then our midfield would of looked a hell of alot better.

And i also wanted to add that Faye has looked very solid..

Smith and Butt are so bad imo. Butt is a DM but FFS even i shoot better than him, don know how many times his shots has went up in the ass of god, and he cant pass or even defend good enough, not going by just this game
