  1. I'm in the same boat, having jacked in (in protest) when Rafa was binned off. Looking for tickets for me and my two lads, as it's been a rough year for all of us. But only two potential chances so far - both in Club Wembley, priced at either £1700 or £900 per ticket...
  2. 17 failures in a row for me. Yet so many of the a*seholes in there just sit on their hands, waiting to moan.
  3. They hit the post twice, missed another great chance first half and had a goal disallowed. Funny definition of “one”.
  4. So, you tuned out on 80 minutes yesterday, then?
  5. Zero interest in Rashford. I'm told he comes with a whole lot more baggage than just a dubious attitude.
  6. Truly scary how we can't sustain performances for 90 minutes. Second half today was like watching a Sunday Lesgue side as the hangover sets in. Bruno could barely move. Also sadly inevitable that Schar has a 'mare straight off the back of scoring a big goal.
  7. Says everything about the level of decline in atmosphere that anyone would claim last night's as "decent" when you consider what SJP was like if we ever held our own against a top-drawer team back in the day. I even think back to some home games that we lost comfortably in the 80s - a midweek defeat by Man Utd sticks in the memory - when the noise was just epic and lasted the whole game.
  8. We ended last season well. Won 7 and drew 2 of our last dozen games, scoring 31 goals.
  9. Thought the lengthy "EH's Black and White Army" chants in that second half sh*t-show were impressively stoic myself.

    Lewis Hall

Played 6 out of his 10 first team games the season before we signed him at LB. But carry on...

Played 18 out of 69 games at CM for Chelsea at age group level in his last three years there
  12. "massive weak link"? Ball-carrying non-existent? First goal yesterday... In terms of key stats such as balls recovered per game, number of times he has been dribbled past and clearances per game, he's ahead of Malo Gusto this season. Absurd over-reaction.
  13. Have tried for so long to find video of this, but come up with nothing (even asked Tyne-Tees TV). My memory tells me Gazza's goal was the best I've ever seen "live". Also, Gary Kelly saving two penalties...
  14. I think Tino has looked at his very best for us as an inverted left-back. But that doesn't necessarily fit well with having an inverted left winger (Gordon or Barnes).
  15. Krafth, Murphy and Longstaff started yesterday. The squad may not be shit, but it's not strong.
  16. Agreed. Loads to appreciate in Hull city centre, even if some of the immediate outskirts are seriously grim (which you could say about Newcastle).
  17. This. Pretty much any team can keep the ball well via a slow build-up. Means f*** all unless they have the quality to deliver a meaningful final ball. Only time they opened us up was when we gave the ball away.

    Marc Guehi

He won't listen to logic like this. Not when he blames the manager for Tonali's gambling addiction, and when he clearly has the inside track on every player's day-to-day fitness...

"for many seasons"? He's played about as many PL games as Bruno G...

Spot on. His refusal to change his starting position was a disgrace. Created so much space in behind us, and totally undermined our pressing game.

And if, by some strange quirk, someone did regularly become party to inside info, why would they not make money out of it (i.e. by selling the info to newspapers)?
  22. Agreed re Fumaca, although I didn't think Stimmo was quite as bad as that. Albert Craig, Dave McKellar, Paul Sweeney, Darron McDonough, Jean-Alain Boumsong (value-wise, our worst ever?) all up (down) there for me.
