I was always hoping that Forest would come unstuck. Not because I've got anything against them, just there was always more chance of them failing than Chelsea or Villa. Would prefer Villa nd Chelsea to fail, but Forest was always a hopeful safety net for us.

I think he means he's a natural fit for the left side midfield role. Miley is fine centrally, but don't think he's got the pace to pull out wide left. Ditto Longstaff who is probably more suited to right side if anything. I don't really see any alternative to Willock unless we change formation.
-
This is what I was thinking as well. I would even consider it for home fixtures against potential banana skins like Chelsea.
-
Massive boost tbh.
-
There's a year left on his contract, Parish might be a pompous quiff, but he's not daft. I think he'll sell this summer, and I think there's a great chance we will be the buyers.
-
It's very hard to predict without knowing if Joelinton is playing or not. He makes a big difference to our team, and if he's out we will need to have a think whether to set up differently to get the best out of the team we put out.

Stopped listening to football phone-ins years ago. It's like reading the Star to get political insights.
-
We might get some fringe players given a shot for Liverpool now that they have won the PL, but even their fringe players are top class. Could see Nunez bagging a couple of goals when there's less pressure on for example.
-
I don't buy this narrative that Liverpool wil get their flip flops out now they have won the league. They are not that type of club, they have a very demanding fan base. I think it's more likely that they'll play without any pressure now and really turn it on.
-
He's quite tall so he can get a good stride in to make up for lack of pace, a bit like Dan Burn. I think he could do a job in that department for a team mid-lower half of the table.
-
If we qualify for the CL I think we will be signing one or two.
-
I pretty much know already. He'd suit a Moyes team basically. Physical and direct, not too much intricate passing.
-
I know he doesn't want to leave, but a move to Leeds would probably be the next best thing for a home bird like Longstaff. It's barely two hours up the road. He could commute if he really wanted to stay put here.
-
If we qualify for the CL I am almost certain we keep all our purples. Not only do they want to play in the CL, but they want to play for a team that can do well in the CL. We can go a long way in it.

Chelsea are a difficult team to predict. They haven't played well this season, but they still have around the same points as us. It's a squad full of expensive players, I am always wary of teams like that, because on the day everything can just click and what looks like a win ends up being a draw, or something we don't even want to contemplate. I think we'll win, but it's a dangerous fixture.
-
Depends if they make CL at the end of the day. If they don't, I think it will have been considered an expensive punt.
-
I think that might put us behind the queue to clubs like Man U and Chelsea unfortunately. He's far more likely to be first choice there. Although whether either of them would want to risk a punt on him being good enough is debatable. They would want someone more proven I think.
-
Tbf, he'll probably fancy his chances of replacing Hojlund or Jackson far more than Isak.
-
There are usually pretty hefty loan fees as well, that is why most clubs avoid loan deals these days.
-
More interested in what them losing out on the CL positions would do given they have gambled quite a lot on expensive loan signings in the hope of qualifying again.
-
We've lost to them twice this season, but they have hardly been great otherwise. We should be looking at how other teams are having success against them and tweak our game plan to that. Especially if Joelinton is out.
-
That might be taking it a touch too far I think.
-
I don't mind him being sold, I don't think it's worked out for him here, and his injuries have worked against him. But right now I'm happy he's still here as I don't really see the other options to replace Joelinton unless we change our formation.
-
Yeah I like Delap tbf, but I do think Osula is capable of rattling defences if you are chasing a goal.
-
Joelinton being fit might still have a big bearing on where we finish. I don't really like any of the options we have to replace him.
