  1. A few posters have backed up my words that Cabaye was totally non-existent tonight, not sure why you are so seething. Maybe when it comes from an opposition supporter it hurts more. It was nothing to do with Cabaye, and more to do with Pardew's Allardyce game plan. I'm not surprised you failed to spot it though seeing as compared to Bruce, Pardew probably looks like Jose Mourinho.

    Alan Pardew

Marveaux looked great in the five minutes he had, as did Ba. The players he didn't pick just made Pardew look a bigger prick when they eventually were allowed on the pitch with their intelligent football. Pardew's game plan is non-existent. He doesn't know how to use the players he's got and his time would be better spent sitting in the stands at QPR admiring Barton and then nipping across London to have a pint with Kevin Nolan. Just fuck off and do it sooner rather than later you fraud.

Honestly don't think John Carver could pick worse sides than the ones Pardew has started with this season. We got passed off the park by a Neil Warnock side for ffs. At least Warnock had the balls to play his new signings while Pardew hid behind Ryan Taylor and Shola Ameobi. Pardew doesn't have a clue, every change he makes from the side he originally picks improves us incrementally. I feel sorry for the players who have to start the game with his team selections.

Pardew's selection so no blame to the player who we all know isn't a real footballer in any sense of the word.
  5. Seeing as he was bypassed by our long ball tactics it's hardly a surprise.

    Alan Pardew

I'm counting the days until Pardew is sacked in all honesty. Looks like first impressions are sometimes the best ones, and his starting line ups this season have just made me remember this was the clueless twat who dropped Mascherano and Tevez from his sides at West Ham under media and fan pressure. I really don't think he has a clue about setting up a team to play football and it's starting to show with every change to the squad which isn't geared towards the long ball game. The points we have got this season have been despite this bell end and not due to his tactical know how.

    Sunderland...

Because it's easier to keep on good terms with a shithole 5000 miles away.
  8. He can still hit a decent shot if he's given time and space. Not sure whaqt he's like these days but he always looked more suited to a free role than playing wide right.
  9. If he's being played on the right what will his role be then? Probably exactly the same role as he played for us from that position. Not the easiest to define is it? Pretty certain I'd have no trouble defining his role for us. Did watch him over 30 times and all. What's you point? I asked what his role would be if he was playing wide on the right. That was in response to someone saying he wouldn't be up against either Jonas or the full back.

  11. Him and Jonas together would certainly give Barton a pretty busy night. Do it I say. SWP you man Barton will play CM. Not according to their manager. You know, the guy who will pick their team. He has said Joey will play wide right ? and what SWP as a striker? SWP in a free role behind the striker. Sounds like a decent idea tbh, although not usre about Barton on the right.

  14. Looks like Barton's starting on the right tonight . Would definitely fancy us to score looking at their defence though. Hmmm.... Can't see Barton posing too many problems down the right, even Raylor should be comfortable with Jonas giving defensive support. In fact I think Barton will have his hands full just keeping Jonas in check so will probably sit pretty deep just like he did for us.
  15. Like the look of that Rich. I like it for the most part but I don't agree with Sammy being left out altogether. I don't think you need both Guthrie and Gosling on the bench and you should have someone like Sammy who can win a game in place of one of them. Although I've got a feeling Shola and Lovenkrands will end up being picked instead, which is a worry as both are shite despite being senior players.
  16. would you be happy if Simpson was our RB for the next 5 years? wouldn't mind him being a squad player over next 5 years tbh I'm sure if he can accept a squad player's salary then everyone all round will be happy. It's just some people seem to be under the impression he deserves a much better contract because the board are a bunch of tight fisted cunts and this just goes to prove it. I think you could use the better players leaving to make that point but using someone as mediocre as Simpson is just sticking the boot in when it's not even applicable.
  17. I think the football has been pretty poor so far in terms of passing and build up and not having full backs who can bring the ball out rather than hoof it is a big reason. We need to get full backs who are comfortable with the ball at their feet into the team sooner rather than later IMO.
  18. would you be happy if Simpson was our RB for the next 5 years?
  19. It will take some getting used to the new look but it certainly seems a lot quicker already. Nice job guys.
  20. He's not on big wages, so on that basis he's probably worth keeping as cover. But once he starts asking for a bigger salary then we can probably do better for the same money. I don't see what's wrong with that approach.
  21. Do you think we should offer him better terms then Dave?
  22. Problem is that shit players demand to be paid handsomely. Simpson is not hard to replace. He's not capable of hitting a semi-difficult pass, his technique is mediocre at best, and he hoofs the ball if he's under the slightest of pressure. Why pay too much if you know it's possible to buy a younger player with the same skills who will settle for less salary and probably has a potential to become a better player than Simpson. If the latter is not capable of understanding he -like Shola and Loven - will be a squad player in the future and that his salary must reflect that, he must be sold. I think that's right. Players think they can be paid extra just because they are playing for a club like Newcastle, when they probably should be playing for a lower tier club in reality. If they could still make those demands at say Bolton and get their way then fair play.
  23. I still don't think he's as bad as people think here. He had a couple of bad games, but he's quick and can tackle. Not sure he's strong enough to play at centre back though.
  24. I don't think you can use Simpson to make this point, Coloccini is a different matter. Simpson is an average full back at best and I don't think it's a good idea handing him a lucrative contract for five years. Let him see out his contract and if he improves we can improve the offer. I would hope by then we will have better quality in that position anyway.
  25. Watching the movement of the top teams this season only makes this prick's delusions of grandeur even more bizarre. Pardew's championing of his qualities even after he's long gone is also strange. Get a grip you fucking cockney twat, we don't need a repeat of your Mascherano/Tevez fuck up here because of your pointless pandering to the local populace.
