That's fine, it probably needed to be done. Howe needs to buy a new striker who can play instead of Isak until his head's right, that's the power move.
There's no way we pay £80m for him. Only way I can see this being pursued is if Wissa costs about £50m and Jackson maybe £60m. He's only 24 so we might see better long term value and a higher ceiling maybe.
Wissa's a far better striker right now though.
No idea. I'm not sure how far we could go with the financial package anyway, otherwise in theory we should be able to do the same with Isak. It all comes under PSR scrutiny I would think.
It's not going to register with some people. They are convinced the big club pull is something fictional, and therefore it must be a failure of the board somehow.
If there is a failure it's been chasing players who we were not likely to get.
