Feels like the players aren't 100% buying into what he's doing this season. The high press probably leaves them feeling exposed, but we don't really know any other way of playing at this point. I don't think it's Howe's fault as when we are on it works great. But when we are missing key players, the ones who are on the pitch look devoid of belief.

I'll be overjoyed to get 7th after watching some of our games this season. Easy to blame it on injuries but we just look all over the place defensively.
-
Mixed bag tbh, but he hit that beautifully. When it was 1-1 I thought he was pretty clumsy with the ball. Once the game was gone he seemed to loosen up a bit and produce some better stuff.
-
Showed the rest of his older team mates how to play football and not be overawed by big names.

Tino Livramento was so much better than everyone else in a black and white shirt it was quite an eye opener.
-
I've always had a soft spot for him so I suppose that's some sort of consolation.
-
Must be the tendon between his foot and the ankle, that would eplain the horrendous first touch.

Feels like we are the only team who can manage to lose to Chelsea these days. They were definitely there to be beat, but we wanted the loss more.
-
Once we're 3--1 down aye.
-
I think that ship has sailed for this season.

Same here, up at 5am tomorrow so I'm not sitting through all the Sky studio shite. Early night for me.
-
Fighting for the 7th spot? After you Chelsea.
-
Murphy's first touch there.
-
Tino has been a shining light in this game, most everyone else looks like they've given up.
-
Most everyone who's gone off has been crocked tbf.

Feels like we've made this Gusto lad look like the best RB in the world.
-
If they would be as generous as us in handing out easy goals we win this 4-2.
-
The goal started with Almiron giving away the ball under no pressure, we never got it back, and then Burn sliced the ball when attempting to clear the ball. Really clumsy football all round. Then of course no one able to stop the shot when it came in, but by then it felt inevitable.
-
All the moaning apart, the game is still very much there to be won if we can find some precision in the final third. We've played some decent stuff up to a point.
-
It was Botman and it was an absolute howler. That's why I'm hoping they score an own goal or something to even things up.
-
Only thing I really remember is him running the ball out of play on one occasion and then losing possession and falling over on another. No doubt he's running around effectively though.
-
Maybe they'll hand us a nothing goal for the winner like the one we gave them.
-
Same here. I do think we miss a really commanding DM, but as has been said by others, there is a trade off with what you lose in technical ability in central areas if the players in there aren't really high level. Even Joelinton isn't a genuinely high class operator and can be loose with his first touch on the odd occasion.
-
Have you really seen that much of him? I'm asking because I've never paid much attention to him, but if he's technically weak I don't think we'd be interested.

Doesn't Clarke lack pace? Not sure we have room for more than one in our midfield, we already have Bruno and no one's replacing him in a hurry.
