  1. What ability? Has it not crossed your mind that they got relegated because they were basically shit footballers?
  2. We were a disgrace a while back but the results were glossing over the dire quality of our football.
  3. It's fun to call him shite, but when he's out, it becomes apparent that there are far shiter players ready to pull on the shirt.
  4. I wonder how many divisions we will have to drop before any of these useless fuckers start looking like good players?
  5. Harewood got the flak but Carroll was equally shit on Saturday
  6. I personally think Smith has been our best player this season. Nolan is getting the goals although the midfield in general has been shite.
  7. He was bigging them up before the game, saying how dangerous they were. It's not the opposition, it's us. We are shit and we need to face the fact.
  8. Basically. We've got two right-back at centre-half. Can they play in midfield?
  9. No doubt Scunthorpe will be described as another highly rated Championship side who we have no right to expect to win against.
  10. I'm quite happy with Geremi in the team, he's got a decent delivery and can use the ball better than most in that team. The problem is going to be having just Carroll up front. We are going to be seeing a lot of flick ons landing in empty space while Nolan tries to catch up with the ball.
  11. Someone said he was out on the razz last night. I predict a shite future for the lad.

    Chris Hughton

Which ultimately is no big deal, despite the hysterics coming from NUFC.com and others. With the continuing impasse regarding the sale of the club, it probably offers Hughton the respect he deserves while not tying down any untried or long contract expensive manager who would take a further chunk of wedge away should a future owner not want them. I agree with this also and it makes sense but long term no thanks ,just get us promoted Chris and get your moment of glory after being so dignified in this whole shambles. I don't think anyone wants it to be long term and it's unlikely to be so. My question mark over Hughton is WHY he wants this and WHY he even bothered staying in the first place ? Some people are calling him a puppet and spineless. Absolute bullshit. Chris Hughton would not be out of work for long if he left Newcastle, he has an excellent reputation within the game. He HAS options and for some strange reason chose to stay here whether as coach, caretaker or boss. He must be mad. Most people would have done a runner at the first opportunity ! He has an excellent reputation as a coach maybe, the only reputation he has as a manager is the one he's building here and the jury's still very much out on that one. Dead right. Although he has a good name in the game he can not be judged as a manager yet. Lets face it we could appoint anyone in football as manager, but to some if his surname is not Keegan or Shearer he'd be unworthy and on a hiding from the start. If I were Hughton I'd rather be a coach somewhere sane than manager of the hysterical and mad Newcastle, but for some reason he seems to like it here. God knows why ? Maybe he likes the idea of leading out his team at away grounds in the knowledge that 3-4000 hysterical and mad Newcastle fans will back their team even hundreds of miles from home? Not everyone can boast that as a manager. Anyway, I really hope he's up to the job. I genuinely like the guy, some have compared him to Roeder, but Hughton seems a much less snidey character but I am wary of Newcastle players slowly easing their foot off the pedal now that there's no one to apply a boot up their arse when they take the piss.

    RIP sale thread.

This thread is plumbing new depths. Who'd have thought that after Silly Sod's asinine contributions so far? I apologise unreservedly for any part I might have played in this.
  15. he deserves a crack up front before we write him off I agree. When we signed him that's where I expected him to play, and it's not like the forwards we've got are scoring shedloads.
  16. I hope that's the reason for his apparent lack of effort, but it makes you wonder why he had a row with the coaches if that's all it was? Everyone was saying the same thing about Lovenkrands when he arrived but nearly two months later he's still putting in half-arsed performances.

    Chris Hughton

According to the Times, Hughton's contract will not be extended, he's got until the end of next season on his current one, and that will probably be changed to reflect he's the manager.

    Aren't arabs semites?

    RIP sale thread.

He appears to have changed his mind again. Or he was bullshitting in the first place. I think he's had a vastly inflated price from the start and no one has come close to matching it; we've clearly not been close to being sold which is very worrying. recession or not people snap up football clubs like nobody's business these days yet we can't attract a half credible buyer for shit. We don't like Cockney wankers, why the fuck would we want investment from potential terrorists? Thank fuck they aren't interested I say. WTF? Didn't you read about the lad from Wallsend who complained to a BT call centre worker in India about his poor service? He got threatened his house would get blown up by the irate Indian. I am concerned that if we are taken over by Arabs and they cock things up, anti- semitic chants could have disastrous consequences. :omg:

    Chris Hughton

I don't think we'll go up now, I think the players will possibly lose any hope they may of had in being managed by a proper manager later in the season. Are they willing to take less pay for their dispirited performances then?
  22. The only downside is when you get two games in a week and win neither. I know this is away, but after a few shit results we really, really need a win here.

That was a cracking read. I wish we had Spawny Get in charge instead of Ashley though.
