  1. Also, Steve Bruce has been in management for 23 years or something. What is it they've been watching to make them think he's good at it?
  2. I'm debating whether to start calling him Edward. Eddie sounds too unsophisticated for such a tactical master. He really needs a more impressive name like Eduardo van De Howe.
  3. I'm not. Most of us were raging when Bruce was appointed at Newcastle, and we were proven right. WBA fans seem to think he's got some sort of pedigree, and are accepting his sleazy blame shifting to the players. If you insist on being the thickest fans in football, then you deserve the shittest manager. Congratulations, enjoy your season.

    Callum Wilson

That would suggest Wilson getting sold. I don't think that's going to happen, I think we'll buy a top striker to compete with Wilson, and maybe a younger one for the future. Depends how highly Howe thinks of Wilson I suppose.

    Callum Wilson

I agree with the idea of buying a 2nd younger striker, but that wouldn't push Wilson down to 3rd or 4th choice. That was the part I was disagreeing with.

    Joelinton

Well I enjoyed the bit where it showed Bruce getting sacked.

    Callum Wilson

Wilson is never going to be 3rd choice striker. We'll buy one new striker and Wilson will share the duties with whoever that is. He'll still be one of our top players, we just won't be so reliant on him.

    Callum Wilson

I wonder if he's one of those who we would try to keep when it comes to contract renewal time? He's a bit of a hero for me, but the absence through injuries for half the season is starting to get a bit depressing. I think we'll buy a new striker in the summer regardless, I suppose it just depends if Wilson is one of Howe's blue chip players.
  9. I mean we are talking about football here, not the middle ages, this isn't Game of Thrones. Man U seem to have quite a few rivalries don't they? Leeds, Man City, Liverpool. It must get tiring.
  10. Same here I really didn't rate him at all, but Eddie knows best.

    Sven Botman

Read the whole interview yesterday, it was inspiring.
  12. Yeah. I don't believe it for a second but it makes me feel better.

    Joe Willock

Yep. This is the key thing for me, even without the goals he's proving his worth. That's another plus for Howe's man management.
  14. You overrated Ole massively mate. You kept defending him, and yet you have the gall to slate Bielsa who had a fraction of Ole's spending power. I can understand it to some extent, Man U seem to have a real hate/hate relationship with Leeds for some reason. No idea what that's about.
  15. Good luck to this Marsch fella coming in btw, he sounds like a decent appointment, but I still think Bielsa will be remembered long after this shitty ownership have sold up. That spygate story when he trolled Frank Lampard still makes me smile to this day.

    Joe Willock

I think he's asking where in rural Northumberland Willock lives. Belsay, Morpeth, Woolsington etc. I was wondering as well fwiw, but I can understand if it's best not shared.
  17. I thought very highly of Ole as a club legend as well. As a player. We are talking about managers here. You thought highly of Ole as a manager yet are slating Bielsa as a manager. Again, why would anyone take your opinion seriously given your lack of reason when it came to judging Ole as a manager?
  18. You loved Ole. Why would anyone take your opinion seriously?
  19. I just hope Villa don't price him out of a move. He wants to be here, he's an asset, but like Diego Carlos, there comes a point where you have to look at other options.
  20. How much money did he bring in getting Leeds promoted? He could bring in money selling his best players for sure, is that what a Leeds fan would want?
  21. He has been there too long tbh. He should be in charge of much better players. It will be interesting to see if the next manager gets as much value out of the same squad, or even improves it on that budget.
  22. He brought some glamour and big time back to Leeds, I enjoyed watching it. I think he was too big time for the owners at the end of the day.
  23. I wonder if Steve Bruce paid the wages of the other Steves on his coaching staff while he was on his rolling contract at Newcastle?
  24. Yes, well maybe when every fans in home game make the boos for the Saudi owners, that will be the time to sell up and buy Man U or Sunderland. Keep watching.
