A young, promising left back makes sense tbh. Debuchy and Santon is a nice starting pair but after them we have nothing. If either of them get injured having someone who isn't Danny Simpson or Ryan Taylor to step in would be handy. The fact that Santon can play both sides means that this chap would essentially be backup for two spots. Obviously this is pretty fucking low on the list of priorities though, and it probably just means Santon will be off soon.
