Especially after a dive. By Evra Eva doing a dinked pen down the middle in front of the kop would be the dream.

Loljo Lolvey.

Mike's fully aware that he only brings misery and suffering to the teams he supports. Yet he chose to support us. That makes him a Grade A cunt tbh. I can't even be bothered to make a vaguely racist joke about him, that's how disgusted I am.

It's like a teacher joining in the bullying. I'm getting shit for something I should be respected for. Eh? Explain.

Let's all ignore the immense cross from Gerrard. Deal?

Poor Mike. Serves him right for being such a cunt though.

Borini looks profoundly shit.

Honestly think that was only because Baines was down the left for them and Pardew didn't trust Ben Arfa to mark him. I don't think it was done for the benefit of our attacking play at all. Jonas will be on the left again today IMO. Agree that it'd be nice to see them where they were against Everton though.

The system isn't the main issue, it's our movement off the ball. In the 4-4-2 only Ben Arfa and Jonas ever stray from their position at all. The two CM's both sit deep (Cabaye really needs to get into more advanced positions) and neither striker has been working the channels at all. We've tried to play it on the ground more this year, but it's not as simple as just deciding to pass it around a bit. We've ended up playing it long a lot simply because the movement off the ball isn't good enough for us to consistently pass the ball through teams. Long term I think a 4-2-3-1 is the way to go for our squad, but switching to it now won't cure all our problems by any means.

With the emergence of Bigirimana I think Gosling is very much disposable. Tiote, Cabaye, Anita and Bigi are all ahead of him in the pecking order for a start in CM, Jonas too when we go with three in the middle. Perch offers more as well IMO. Gosling has looked absolutely abysmal in his time here to be brutally honest. Maybe he'd get better with some regular football but we certainly can't afford to give him that. A loan could work but personally I don't think he'll ever be good enough to offer us anything so I'd be happy enough to get rid.

Having to watch that show every week was the single worst thing about getting relegated.

Hell of a goal. Feel so bad for that keeper.

Newcastle United vs Norwich City - Sunday 23/09/12 @ 3pm
Shak replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
These are the kinds of games that I feel Pardew often doesn't approach positively enough. We should be able to go out and impose ourselves on Norwich, take the game to them and pin them back and create lots of chances. Often we start these kinds of games in a very cagey fashion and allow teams more of the ball than we should and they then grow in confidence and end up taking the game to us. Hopefully we come out all guns blazing. -
Good man Nolan.

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis
Shak replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Yep, head and shoulders above all the other young lads we've blooded so far by the looks of things. I'm already comfortable with the idea of him being part of their instead squad and he should only improve over the next couple of years. Very complete central midfielder, no real glaring weaknesses to his game and is very composed on the ball. Has the chance to be a very good player. -
Decent point given our starting 11 and it being an away game.
-
Gosling looks haunted out there. Don't dare throw this away FFS.

Good save, Elliot has been a real bright spot.

Aye, was absolutely bizarre.

Poor from Amalfitano, had to try and bend that.
