Would almost be worth it to hear that.
-
In Stifler's defence, that post would have been perfectly reasonable had he not just pulled some £60m figure from his arse to start it off with.
-
Was there any point to this other than to piss off fans who might be feeling just a little bit good about their club for the first time since these gimps (sorry gimp) took over? Didn't they have a 5 year plan in the first place anyway?
-
Some questionable lineage in here. GK - Packie Bonner RB - Denis Irwin CB - Paul McGrath CB - Richard Dunne LB - Steve Staunton RW - Ray Houghton CM - Roy Keane CM - Andy Townsend LW - Damien Duff CF - Robbie Keane CF - Niall Quinn

Would have been class had he been booked again there when he was hacked down.
-
Why was Bojan booked there?
-
Barca planking it a bit here.

Doubt he'll be happy to sit on the bench next year, but that's where he'll need to be if we're going to get moving in the right direction. His act of charging around throwing himself into and snarling at anyone he makes eye contact with was fine and good in the Championship, but in the Premiership it'll just lead to bookings and concessions of free kicks in dangerous places. And in the Premiership, there'll be opponents who can deliver from those dangerous places.

I'd like to see us get Krul signed on a long term contract then loan him out for the season next year to someone in the Championship. He looks a really good prospect but there are definitely still some areas of his game that need work, and starting every week in someone's first team would be really beneficial for him in that regard. I'm not sure he'll take any step up in his game playing in the reserves for us, so unless we feel he's ready to start ahead of Harper then I think a stint away would be for the best for him.
-
Wow. If that's your honest opinion then that's fair enough. Still can't get my head round it like, Torres is fucking fantastic. It's not fair enough at all. It's just plain wrong. I'd have to agree like.

This. Drogba is a better all round striker, but Rooney would be better value for money. Isn't the thread about who had the better year this season though? I went with Rooney in any case, think he's carried Man U to a phenomenal degree this year, they've essentially looked shite without him.

Don't understand the whole 'I'm not arsed about how my country does' concept. The buzz at the time of a World Cup is amazing, can only imagine what it'd be like to actually win one. Sadly it'll never happen, me being Irish and all. We'd absolutely decimate the place if it ever happened mind, so maybe it's for the best.
-
Seems to have fucked off thankfully. I think it was mostly to do with Keane rather than the ownership being Irish.
-
I think he's great to have in the squad, looks a player that would be comfortable on either wing. It's not the priority for the summer, but getting in another RW who could push Routledge for that spot would be ideal IMO.

Not sure how anyone can look at that and think it was definitely with intent, you never see Messi's eyes and he certainly doesn't visibly move his elbow towards Maicon. I certainly wouldn't be shocked, I've never seen him as some sort of angel or anything, but I'm not sure an Inter fan and Real fan are the two most unbiased opinions on the matter. As for Messi's form, I wonder if the hype after the Arsenal game has maybe gone to his head a bit? Last night and the Espanyol game at the weekend he seemed to be trying too much, trying to take on multiple defenders at once in place where it's really not been on. What he's always been very good at is not wasting the ball by trying too much and ignoring his teammates if they're in a better position to do something with it, few times in the last couple of games he's missed chances to put teammates in by trying to go himself. Also, it's amazing how much they're missing Iniesta.
-
I did tell you all he was terrible. This is how Ronaldo must feel all the time.
-
Hell I'd even rather lose 1-0 than win 4-3 tbh.
-
Someone beatable at home, obviously.

Total meltdown from Arsenal. Once that first goal went in, you knew there was every chance they'd throw it away. Such a mentally brittle team they are. N'Zogbia was quality, it'll be interesting to see if he moves on in the summer. If Wigan do manage to keep hold of him though I think the best thing to do would be to bring in an established Premiership 'veteran' type to take his place, some N'Zogbia could learn from while sitting on the bench.
-
Last couple of games Barca have really missed Ibrahimovic. He'll be crucial to them against Inter, if he doesn't play I can see them struggling to break them down.
-
I do. Nowt against England like, but Christ there are some awful, awful tossers in your national team.
