Would go quite well with the Castore logo and the blue in the crest.

Yeah Ekitike as the understudy makes a lot of sense IMO, especially as he can play out wide too a bit so will get plenty of opportunities to start or come off the bench.
-
Would be happy to see Lewis get another chance under Howe, not hard to imagine that maybe there's a real player in there somewhere beneath the mountains of shite that were dumped on him from Bruce's immense backside.

I like the idea of being able to switch between 3 at the back and 4 at the back, do wonder if that is something Howe wants to be able to do as Targett seems like such an obvious signing otherwise.
-
I think signing just one forward player would be a huge mistake, three starting spots and we only have ASM and Wilson who are good enough as anything more than squad options for what we should be aiming for. Somebody like David would be an excellent addition, can give us an option other than Wilson to play CF but could also go out wide when we want to start Wilson. We need another wide player though, I'd have much more faith in Longstaff, Willock or Shelvey starting lots of games in CM than Almiron or Fraser playing lots of games out wide. Can Paqueta play out wide on the right? With Howe really looking like he wants very attack minded full backs I wouldn't be surprised if the players we bring in for the wide spots are more creative AM types than speedy wingers.

They're a few minutes from relegation man, of course they're giving it their all.

The weirdos being absolutely thrilled when ASM does something wrong is great

State of this from City.

Harsh on Murphy that.

It all depends on whether Howe wants to play a flat back four or not IMO. If we want to play four at the back, Targett at the supposed price is a no-brainer IMO. He's excellent defensively, competent in possession and is a decent crosser of the ball. If we want to go with wing backs, I can see how we might want someone who's more of an attacking threat on that flank. I suspect we'll possibly go between the two systems but signing a guy who's purely a left back for a team that will spend a lot of time playing without one might not make sense. Do we think he could play on the left side of 3 CBs? If yes, he might have a bit more versatility as a squad option?

I actually think we'll get Paqueta, fucking mental a thought as that is

They really should have made a better chance out of that situation.

Good stuff from ASM there, got the head up and played the ball on time.

Not sure Alan Smith should be commentating on Arsenal games, seems quite biased.

Middle of Leaving Cert English Paper 2 for me. We went into the exam when it was 1-0 to Germany. Some lad ran up to the exam hall and shouted "1-1. Robbie Keane in the last minute! Yeah!!" Whole exam hall erupted then we got back to writing

Flip spends a lifetime overrating every Brazilian on the forum and then we're about to sign one and this is the moment he chooses to take a balanced view

Cheers lads, appreciate the posts.

Could be a good shout. Think the company is officially going to be 'LIV Golf'. Hope it's not them mind you, think that whole thing is gonna be a shitshow

Osimhen is the striker we've been linked with a lot that I'd be most excited about. Just looks like a fantastic young player who will only get better.

Turned it on to a free kick just immediately being hoofed long beyond everyone out for a goal kick. Turned off again.
-
I also think there's a very good chance we'll mostly operate in a 3-5-2 next season. Don't remember seeing us linked to many real wide attacking players, seems to be mostly strikers and players who can play just off and do more damage centrally.

"to the championship where they belong" is just outrageous levels of self-ownage

Bruno man, shit pass to Murphy there.

Thought Dubravka should have been out dealing with that Salah chance, ball over the top was very deep.
