Desperate fuckers, putting a Daily Mail 'verbal' headline in the thread title.
-
Aye. For Spain in World Cup 2018, when Rafa takes them to World Cup glory.
-
Probably because they're still an actual football club.

Apparently that was just an early mockup. The real version looks like: http://i.imgur.com/eB72FB2.jpg

Seems pointless dropping to 2. We end up not playing 3 or 4 of the players we brought in the first place. If we want to bring additional potential attacking options, I'd be far more interested in not bringing 4 fullbacks, either by bringing a backup fullback who is comfortable on either side or a centreback who can go right back if need be. Or maybe not bringing 4 identical defensively minded midfielders. At least in positions other than keeper, if the worst thing happens there are players that can cover no matter what.

Just bookmarking these for when we're in the Champion's League. Performance of the team is fairly irrelevant at this point. There is no turning back as far as I'm concerned with Mike Ashley. Although I guess if nothing else, if we were in the champions league he'd have to take down his adverts. So that's a plus. If we're in the Champions League the club would either be up for sale or already sold if Fat Mike is to be believed. Stunned people can still write things like this with a straight face.

What number numbers? I see no numbers on that kit!

You mean you weren't aware of the potential Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha had to be a top class owner before he took over at Leicester? And you call yourself a fan.

That ownership of a club question is fucking idiotic, so I'll ignore that one. Managerial choices aren't all that hard to work out. Find a manager who hasn't been shit for his entire career, hire him. There are about 15 of them I'd be happy with in the PL. Rafa is a perfectly good choice. Still doesn't go anywhere near making up for 8 years of destroying the club.

Your having a bad day aren't you! Argument with the missus!! Relegation from the premier league and complete decimation of my football club mate. Seems no-one else even gives a fuck. 5-1!!!!! FTS Yes the club has been decimated, so have many others for various reasons. At least we've now got the chance to re-invent it with someone we can trust in charge. Ashley's a a clueless cunt as far as football is concerned, we get it. But if he has finally recognised that and is prepared to hand over the reins to one of the world's most respected managers then I'll take it. 1) In what way does "other clubs have been decimated" change anything? We've only been 80% decimated so we're canny? At least we're not the Villa? Fuck that. 2) Ashley has recognised he should probably spend a minute amount of the total budget on a manager who isn't fucking useless. Hooray. He's still Mike Ashley, he's still a useless twat, he's still going to fuck us over and he's still going parade his emporium of shite all over SJP.

So your alternative suggestion is what? Hoping Rafa says no now so that we can all concentrate on ousting Ashley? That would probably be better for us in the long term, aye. For those of us who care about what we believe the identity of NUFC is/should be.
-
Before actually being at the club, and working with them directly, and watching first-hand as malaise got us relegated. I'm sure a closer look at the club, and it's ownership, probably goes a long f***ing way to making you realise how royally f***ed we are. You seem to be forgetting that he's now worked with them and he's still talking to them. He also said the talks had been professional so far, unless he's lying. If he does say no, as is still my expectation, I'd be very very surprised if Rafa comes out and says "They were cunts, I'm done working for them". He'll say some nothingness about not being able to make it work... and inevitably add on that Mike and Lee are the BEST and they'll turn it round (as he boards the first plane out of here).
-
You're all fuckwits. Even if he does stay, there is no fucking hope. This is just prolonging Ashley's miserable reign at "NUFC".
-
Saylor. Absolute bag of shit human/footballer.
-
. Ahh good old writing. I am sure Mike has never written anything that he didn't actually mean.

I reckon that might not be real personally
-
It's a different discussion? Surely the inevitable behaviour of the owner of our club (his boss), is a fairly major talking point with regards to why he would, or would not, choose to stay???
-
"he'll be able to completely rebuild a club from the ground up", it's like you've all just completely forgotten who owns the club. This is a fucking awful job, and that's the reason that our previous managers were Alan Pardew and Steve McClaren. Maybe he promises Rafa a much greater level of control, and maybe he actually gives Rafa a little more control than the previous shitehawks, but it'll not be long before they fall out over a nice bit of casual deceit from Mike, and we'll be back to square one.
