Not sure if the faux Man City kit was a masterstroke or a fuck up. Masterstroke: Every so-called Man City fan who previously never cared about the MLS will profess to love NYCFC. Fuck up: Every NYC-based Premier League fan who has been supporting a team other than Man City is never going to support that team / buy that kit. From my perspective, it just makes them dislikable. They could've been the team with soul in NY. Instead they're the Man City reserve team.

He's decent for the MLS. Although has no real position. He's a ball playing CB / decent DM, but he comes a little short at the physical aspects of CB, and comes a little short at the passing aspects of playing in MF. He has time to improve though. I'd assume it's most likely he's seen as a DM, he's much more likely to improve at that role, given he's unlikely to grow 8 inches taller anytime soon.

Aye, and if they gave me a car I reckon I'd be able to well beat that Lewis Hamilton, I piss it round Monaco in F1 2014. I realised a long time ago that the ability to play at being a manager (and inevitably do well at it in the game) is what makes a lot of people think the job is a piece of piss, and also gives some people an over-inflated idea of the magical transformational effects of formations & tactics on players' abilities. I never actually thought I'd see someone go this far and admit they think these games are anything like real life though unless it was one of the usual suspect forum dunces. What an absolute pile of shit. Utter fucking drivel.

Made a couple of saves. FFS credit where credit is due or would you prefer Elliott to make a miracle recovery and play instead? Credit where credit is due is absolutely correct. I think he had an ok-decent cameo, and would prefer to play him over Elliott, because fuck Elliott. Where as you said he was "outstanding" and made some "fantastic saves". Both of these statements are inaccurate.

Seemed to stay on his line too much at the low byline crosses, but come out a lot on anything high enough for him to punch away. Looked a little flustered in general but was mostly solid. Not sure much can be judged from his cameo today. It's not like he had all that many shots to deal with.

We played with 10men for like 5 minutes + extra time when up 2-0 already. Otherwise I agree and yeah Ayoze was fantastic. And we conceded a goal during that time
