  1. He's not going anywhere man. NUFC 4EVA.
  2. f***ing Liverpool man. Yep £15 million for Downing? seriously man! Now compare to 20m for Henderson. Seems like a fucking steal now, dunnit?

    Owen Hargreaves

I'd be surprised if he hadn't already had people interested in a pay-as-you-play deal, but any deal like that would be suicidal for him to take unless it still had a decent starting wage. Otherwise I'd gladly have him in. £0 p/w, £1k for every 3 minutes of football you play for NUFC. £8k well spent IMO.
  4. Boateng moaned he wanted to play CB. I guess he just wasn't good enough to oust one of Man City's starting XI
  5. He isn't one of the best left backs in the world.
  6. They still have a yearly plan: $159.99 for the year - average of a little over $13 per month. It is going up to $169.99 in August, though, so act quickly. That's the way I've done it and it makes sense since you'll likely be using it every month anyway. Also, several people have said they'll be enhancing the site with new features, iPad functionality, etc. Apparently they're taking it a bit more seriously and the quality should improve. I hope so. Hmmm, I already pay for Fox Soccer+, get FSC free with my FIOS package... is there really that much benefit to getting the foxsoccer.tv shit too? It's great to be able to watch every match in a weekend, I was able to watch every Newcastle game because of it. The service is frustrating though, video can be sloppy and even unwatchable, but I still paid for it since I couldn't get that offer anywhere else. I don't really care about the new upgrades, PIP and live match stats will be nice, but I don't have an iPad or anything like that. The day they make a 360/PS3 app will be great. I know I'll buy it again next season since I probably won't have FSC, which even if you have, it's definitely still worth it. Hmm, well I'm not sure. Half of the games were on FSC or FS+ anyway, and the remaining ones could be found... elsewhere... and if the quality isn't all that good, I'm not sure it has any benefits over the... other... onlne coverage.

  8. That shirt is fucking awesome.
  9. defending Denilson. They'd be good to get any payment for that useless sack of shit. He's the Brazilian Nicky Butt.
  10. Isn't it the same as the kit England wore a year ago... For some game... For some reason, which I forget.
  11. I bought one of them off eBay for about 11 quid a year ago. Just a case of checking a lot.
  12. Awesome. You don't get much complementary cake nowadays. Nice touch.
  13. Maybe it was a tenner cheaper to buy the stream from behind the goal rather than the side of the pitch...? There are certainly no cameramen at pitch side for the close-ups n arl.
  14. Probably the same stream. http://www.laola1.tv/ It's linked to from the fulhamfc website itself, so one would assume it's legal!
  15. Aye. S'free streaming online too. Legal and all that shit.
  16. I'm still holding out hope that Xisco will turn up to training a new man, bang in 30 goals and take us to our first trophy in 600 years.
  17. Ultimately, you should be willing to pay whatever price you feel a player is worth, but the last year of the contract factor is undoubtedly a very useful bargaining tool.
  18. 6 nil home defeat, Bendtner double hat-trick.
  19. If I could be bothered, I would go find the "We could finish ahead of Arsenal this season" thread that was started at the beginning of our relegation season. I refuse to write off Arsenal, no matter who they sell.
  20. I guess given this is the apparent "Last big transfer window" before financial fair-play shit kicks in (even if it is bound for failure), City and other bankrolled teams will be spending some big dollar.
  21. Oh well. I wonder if Man City will brave attempting to score goals next season?
  22. Could be clichy also like. Fucking twitter.
  23. Or just check Twitter... my prediction... Manchester City have meeting arranged with Samir Nasri's agent today.
  24. Why does it look that way? Have I missed some form of "We're not signing any more strikers" announcement? If Pardew believes our main striker is an as yet unsigned addition to the 'out-and-out goalscorer' he's expecting 15-25 goals from then I can only assume he also expects us to be going for the top four. So you've managed to turn Pardew's efforts to instill confidence in Ba, into a negative by claiming it means we're not interested in signing another striker as our "main" striker. I don't think it matters who is defined as our main striker anyway, if we sign someone of similar level to Ba, that'd be fine with me, one does not have to be clearly defined as the number 1 strike-option as far as I'm concerned. And I'd still say I expect 15-25 goals from both of them, likelihood is one will turn out to be shite anyway.
