Agreed. It's more about where we're battling for than anything. I'd just like to be closer to battling for 7th place than being in the pack who could end anywhere from 8th-14th like this season.

Expecting anything vaguely balanced from *some* people is where you're going wrong. Just ignore it. Constant doom-mongering.
-
Why does it look that way? Have I missed some form of "We're not signing any more strikers" announcement?
-
No, no he didn't. Yes, yes he did.
-
Aye, was considered. Only reason I didn't is because I would prefer to see Ferguson on LW, and I wanted another defender on the bench. Either would be good in reality. I prefer him, and he's settled in the team as far as I'm concerned. But again, another thing that would be changeable as the season goes on.

Krul Simpson Colo Williamson Enrique Barton Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ben Arfa Ba Bench: Forster Saylor Raylor Gosling Marveaux Best Ameobi Wingers would rotate with Marveaux, or he'd come in for a more attacking option, replacing a CM and putting Ben Arfa in a attacking centre mid position. Plus, Marveaux's injury record keeps me from putting him as a starting XI member. I don't think there's anything all that controversial there.

It's certainly an ambitious signing, and the right kind of ambitious signing for a club like Sunderland - rather than spunking 80k p/w on some Luque equivalent. But it is a big gamble as far as their strikeforce goes for next season. It's the right way to go to throw him in at the deep-end IMO, but there is still a good chance he'll sink. We shall see.

tbf, it's not hard to make 'good business' after Liverpool have ridiculously overpaid for one of your players. If we get another striker in for around the £10m mark, we've made fantastic business out of the Carroll fun imo.

His fitness record has been fine in the second half of last season. He still doesn't score goals tho.

I'm sold. Fucking Mike Ashley. He just can't resist a quick buck. Where you off to? Glory Glory?
-
IMO that rates Dann at something nearer £15.75m. Fucking Cameron Jerome. Pulis must be using FIFA 11 for his research.

Given the size difference between guys n gals, and the fact that you need a particularly tall man in net normally, it does seem a little stupid that the nets are the same size.

Shit blonde reserve RBNY keeper did alright when I saw them vs Columbus tbf. I've 90 minutes of experience watching him though, probably not too conclusive an example of his ability.

Nee answer about which snide site has it?

My favorite football poster is James. He's just so amazing and passionate and handsome.
-
Fucking hell. English representation in Europe next season outside of the PL teams = mancienne and carson. Our stock is gonna rocket.
-
Not worth selling at that IMO. Will just end up spending it in a years time when Harper does one.
-
He was rumoured to be on roughly £200,000 p/w so I'm surprised it's not more than that tbh. Maybe he invests heavily in Man City's retirement scheme. Sensible lad.
-
They'll probably jump in with a £65m bid as well. Just to make sure.
-
Be funny if Chelsea withdrew now.

I hope he does a fantastic job that ultimately does his career a world of good whilst simultaneously relegating Birmingham to League One. Good Luck.
