Great tactical change to move Leon wide left and go three in midfield with Jonas at the tip. -

Is Simpson trolling us today? It's like he's using the ball even worse than usual just to see what reaction he can get. -

He's broke his foot I reckon. Fuckin horrendous for us. Wilkins can fuck off as well. No retraction from him despite the fact he was telling him to get up and play on. -

Helguson pulling onto Colo and winning everything. -
They were well worth a point. Chelsea had loads of shots but hardly created any clear cut chances. McClean, Gardner and Bendtner all had clear cut chances. BAN HIM! [/RAWK user] I did feel a bit sick writing it.

A mate who's a Man U fan is absolutely gutted. He's been moaning about why Morrison, and Pogba, hasn't been playing lately.

Abdelhakim Omrani of Lens has been on trial according to Douglas on Twitter.

Comes from Phil Gartsides son.

Holliett has rejected Bolton. Off to Liverpool apparently.

Can we collectively write to the FA as a forum?

Sessegnon obviously. When Ben Arfa was injured, Sessegnon scored far more goals than he did.
-
But he's a coward who bends over to the big guns. We can't win like Sunderland did against City. Oh wait, have a bit of that! GTFI
-
Agree with this. Koscielny is only just starting to look adequate now and he was apparently the best in that league. Ciani is a big guy though so I would hope the physical stuff wouldn't be a problem.

Imagine if we'd played like they did today and lost 1-0 (as they easily could have when Richards hit the bar in the 88th minute). Pardew would be getting destroyed for it.
-
Nope, lucky result...they parked the bus. There was fuck all lucky about it tbh, tactically it was spot on. They defended deep but they also pressed hard and used their counter attacks well - they had the three best chances of the game! In our current state of sheer cowardice, we'd have parted our cheeks and bent over, as I fully expect us to do on Wednesday. Is this based on one game against Liverpool then? Because we didn't turn over against Chelsea, Man City or Man U. And we didn't last year either.

I'd rather have both, but we need a centre back as it stands more, very very marginal though. Why do we? We need cover, but not an expensive first-teamer. Samba would be amazing long term signing for me. Taylor has been good this season but only this season and a 9 month achilles injury will de-rail him a fair bit. Samba and Coloccini looks sensational to me and the spine of the side would be quality. With Santon settled in, Cabaye and Tiote in front with Ben Arfa and Ba as well, we'd then be two attacking players and a full back away from a seriously quality side.

What red carpet treatment is this? We got a point at Old Trafford, Drew 0-0 with them last year, took 4 points off Arsenal last year, took 2 points off Chelsea.
-
Who said that? Mancini? They won there 3-0 a couple of seasons ago. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7578481.stm

I've said a number of times on here that the problem with Simpson is that he thinks he's good. He's on twitter calling Dzeko and Fabio 'pony', he's retweeting every twat who says he should be playing for England, he's on Talksport complaining because Capello doesn't come to SJP. His game hasn't developed since we signed him 2 and a half years ago. He's not up to it, he won't improve and he won't be happy sitting on the bench. The only option is to move him on. I'll dream of us signing Cissokho so we can play him and Santon at full back.
-
Ryan Taylor right midfield with Santon at left back is my guess.
-
I'm starting to agree re Cabaye. He played very advanced against Villa and was excellent. Vuckic would be back up in that position as well. Guthrie is well worth a place in the 11 on this seasons form as well.

Obertan is shit so Pardew signed him whilst the messiah Carr had nothing to do with it. In fact, just as Obertan was about to sign the contract, Carr burst in to try to stop it but Pardew threatened that he'd do his wife if he prevented the deal. Get a grip. It was said at the time of the deal that Carr had been scouting him for years.
