Thought so, glad we're at home. Big pitch will suit our players, Dyer especially will take advantage. Not if he plays on the right. Nathan Dyer vs Jose will be class. He'll try to kick it past him and run, Jose will get to the ball first, do that thing he does when he backs in to the guy and turns him and then Dyer will do nothing for the rest of the game.

How long until he gets the sack? Diarra has played right back countless times. He's even played there for France.

My mate saw Ranger outside Tup Tup going mental at 3 in the morning. He didn't mention anything about Simpson like. He probably chinned Simpson for having the cheek to score before he did.

Good. The way the twat went on when they beat our kids was pathetic. It also gives us a chance to sign George Boyd in January.

Everton look really poor- really lacking in confidence. Tony Hibbert is like a shorter, less ugly version of Peter Ramage as well.

This ref is hilarious.

You know fine well that scoring headers and flicking them on are two very different things. To be fair at times he has been magnificent in turning pretty poor crosses into goal scoring opportunities/goals. He doesn't do it often enougn but then we don't get balls into the box enough either. The header that hit the post on Monday was superb. -
The reason he doesn't go that far forward is because he understands the role of a defensive midfielder. Butt has played in that position all his life and still doesn't understand that you don't press the ball ridiculously high up the pitch as you can have the ball passed around you easy. I can't believe anyone still champions the cause of Nicky Butt.

He was by me. Me too. He was the best keeper in the league when we had him and he still is now.

Vidic and Anelka? It was close between Vidic and Gallas tbh. Carvalho doesn't look the same defender since his injury problems last year and Rio has been terrible this year. Toure was also in with a shout. I think Anelka is sensational. I'm in a serious minority that has him right up there with Torres and Drogba. He can do everything and can also play out wide. He was the top scorer in the league last year so I'm not sure its that outrageous a shout.

Given Sagna Vidic Terry Cole Essien Fabregas Lampard Anelka Arshavin Drogba

Lol. As if Rooney has the strength of Drogba or the pace and finesse of Torres. Ask yourself where Rooney was in both Champions League finals? Or if he has ever produced a big performance against Liverpool or Chelsea? Drogba is consistently superb in big games and, for that reason, he's ahead of Torres and miles ahead of Rooney.
-
Examples? Rio before his injuries did a good job against him. Bassong was particularly effective against him earlier in the season.
-
Drogba comfortably. A pacy centre half can do a bit of a job on Torres while Rooney does nothing in big games. I'd probably have Anelka over Rooney if I'm honest. Maybe even RVP.

Assists Guthrie - 4 Carroll - 3 R.Taylor - 3 Ranger - 3 http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/topassists?league=eng.2&seasontype=4&cc=5739 No Guttierez, I AM SHOCKED!!! Those aren't all the assists obviously, Gutierrez has two. And has only started 5 league games tbf. -
Why would he need videos of Simpson, Khiz and Harewood? Surely he knew plenty about them as most people on here did.

The most disgusting thing is the long throw for the first goal. How dare a Brazilian side utilise the long throw!
